1) Drudge has proven problematic to Clintons in the past. 2) It is the kind of thing easily spunned to make somebody look very feeble. 3) It could have badly damaged Hilary's gimmick as the 'I can win the general' candidate. 4) None of it matters because she survived virtually unscathed from the whole mess. That "pile-on" two debates back seems to have done very little in the short-run and will do even less as time wears on. Sadly.

Yeah, retarded.

Langerado has apparently decided to become a major festival.

With the wins in Minneapolis & Kansas City I am little more considant about the Dallas game, but not much.

I called him a 'douchebag' and that's all the reason a cop should ever need.

It's a drink for children to replace their electrolytes when they're sick so they don't dehydrate. It's also a pretty reliable hangover cure.

Neil Young was also very drunk when recording Tonight's the Night. Still gets my vote, though.

Her campaign is crumbling badly. Telling Wolf Blitzer to be nice could be her Waterloo.

I wonder how this My Bloody Valentine reunion will pan out.

Hillary campaign hasn't really handled the illegal immigrant driver's licence thing too well.

Thay want to see their kids grow up.

Wow. Young had a subpar year, but he hit .288 as a 21 year old rookie. He's talented and all but fighting umpires seems like a good indication of flaking out in the future. That's one incident. If it happens again yes, it's a problem. But this is not Elijah Dukes here. And let me point out that another famous slugger (Babe Ruth) once punched out an umpire in an MLB game. He was a 20 year old kid. He threw a bat at an umpire for his second violation. And he's not Babe Ruth. I could easily be wrong, though. It's just that throwing a bat at an ump sticks out to me.

The Thursday night game in a few weeks could be very important as it might determine home field advantage in the playoffs. If Green Bay can't somehow win the first time around, they probably don't stand much of a chance against Dallas in January either. I'm not really liking the idea of the Packers maybe playing against Terrell Owens in another playoff game.

Young won't even be in the Majors five years from now.

I get the feeling that if Milwaukee traded Ben Sheets he would then finally play a full season. I hope they re-sign him. When he's healthy he's a Cy Young-level pitcher.

Neither is arguable. You either don't mind huge debts and needless wars, or you do. There can be no middle ground just because Johnson was a Democrat. As I have already mentioned, though, LBJ was a brilliant legislator and was able to turn the tide of America post-11/63 into major civil rights legislation. For that he will end up above Bush Jr who wasn't able to do anything of actual merit.

Sorry. Escalting an absoutely pointless war that will eventually kill over 50,000 Americans and scar at least two consecutive generations is THE defining moment of his Presidency no matter how you care to spin it. And that Great Society stuff isn't all you crack it up to be. Johnson, in continuing to expand his own 'credibility gap,' refused to acknowledge the actual costs of Vietnam and, in doing so, refused to raise taxes to pay for all his initiatives. Sound familiar? In serious debt is not a good place for a nation to be.

Had a lot of fun at the Modest Mouse show last night.

Today's game was a pretty good time.

I stopped paying close attention awhile ago but how the fuck can Michigan be #12? "They're Michigan," doesn't count.

The only reason that people in the 1960s were more involved than this generation was the draft. That's it. If this country as a whole needs to actually sacrifice, or risk people they actually know going into Iraq, the protests would be just as massive. President Bush and his Administration, however, have decided to neuter our military efforts and implement such naive ideas as a 'small, agile force' rather than actually go all-out and try to win either of these wars.

The mainstream-liberal-secular-whackjob-etc media must not have noticed that this is the worst year for American death in Afghanistan since 2001. Maybe they can mention the sharp increases for BOTH warfront this year sometime between talking about all of the supposed improvements.
