As amazing as it sounds, A&M could be back in this game 28-14 by the end of their first possession of the second half.
-
Yeowch, that personal foul won't help nail A&M in the coffin.

Tennessee's winning their bowl game in commanding fashion, it's a winner of a year already.

Happy birthday, Agent of Oblivion.

I was right, it's tomorrow, and I'm still downright high. This should be really fun. I hope he has a camera or something, because I got nothing. -
The A&M virtual home crowd is making a final stand. If their defense doesn't force a punt here, they'll totally lose this crowd and any chance of victory.
-
And a delay of game kills any chance of possibly converting that 4th down. A&M's offense shows signs of wanting to break out, but they just can't do it. That defense that rose up against Auburn in the second half of the SEC Championship and for most of the season is showing up. Man, nothing feels as good as a lead in your bowl game. Man, I looooooove football.

Fortunes on the rise for the other SEC representative as well, as Georgia gets a pretty sweet touchdown. 10-6 Bulldogs. Yeah, we beat them too.
-
And that fullback handoff just broke the back of the A&M defense. Caught TOTALLY off-guard, and Tennessee is poised to go up 28-0 in a minute. Make that 28-0 now pending the extra point.
-
Tell you what, if Tennessee can win this game in the same fashion they've dominated it thus far, they'd damn well better get a #12 or maybe even #10 ranking for the end of the season, 'specially if Georgia can beat Wisconsin. I can't stress enough how well Phillip Fulmer coached this year, and how frighteningly good we'll be as early as next year.
-
Their defense absolutely needs a stop here after that false start penalty thwarts an Aggie series. I'm not sure they'll be able to do it. And MAN are both teams jacked at the Outback Bowl. Big Ten/SEC matchups are always intense for some reason. Probably due to a similar style of play.
-
And A&M is just having everything go wrong for them after a made to order 3rd and 20 conversion failed and Tennessee was forced to punt. The crowd can only stay enthusiastic for so long, and A&M desperately needs a score to keep this game from getting out of hand. 21-0 Tennessee.
-
Big-time sack by Georgia to force a Wisconsin field goal attempt. They WORKED for that one. Powerful, head-jarring football being played all around today thus far.
-
I didn't realize the A&M quarterback's bell had been rung. I think one of the announcers said "oh, shit!" when they chose to run a draw play with a guy who moments earlier had to prove his consciousness. It's looking like they're settling into a defensive battle down in Tampa, still 3-3 and punts are being traded between Georgia and Wisconsin.
-
14-0 Vols, and A&M really needs to score on this drive somehow, and I don't think a field goal will cut it. Tennessee came to PLAY today.
-
Tennessee forces ANOTHER fumble, this one at the A&M 30. Here's our second chance at going up by two scores. Fortunately we came out motivated by our performance against Auburn and the defense is pissed off that so many have been slagging them the last four games.
-
Wilhoit misses a field goal, still 7-0. Schaeffer was brought in for an obvious 3rd down QB draw play, which fails. I'm just happy to see he's game-ready. Fulmer can really play with the defense now that he's got the wild card Schaeffer to go to as an option.
-
Georgia's defense smashes Wisconsin in the mush enough to cause them to go backwards, resulting in just a field goal. 3-3. Tennessee converts a HUGE 3rd down after a delay of game penalty. The virtual home game atmosphere for A&M is giving Clausen fits, as is the defensive heat. He's already gotten nailed twice, but not sacked. It makes a big difference when you're missing your All-American O-Lineman.

Wisconsin recovers a fumble deep in Georgia territory. Man, everyone brought their A-games today.
-
Texas A&M has a great drive, bolstered by a late hit penalty on Tennessee, but bumbles an option pitch and Tennessee recovers! This game is going to be a hard-hitting shootout. Both offenses came ready to light up the scoreboard and guys are getting popped left and right out there.
-
And Georgia is up 3-0 on Wisconsin. The real studs of the SEC play today, none of that worthless Florida or Alabama crap.
-
WHOOOOOOO TOUCHDOWN Vols up 7-0 early.
-
Georgia, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn will do their duty and give the SEC a 4-2 record, baybee.

The Terminal: 9/10. This is what happens when I care about a main character. Man.

If Texas loses Mack Brown should be fired.
