Bruce Springsteen looks to still have plenty of drawing power. The Boss has already earned $79 million during his tour and is projected to finish the year with roughly $120 million, more than double his previous best ($61.4 million in 1994). Springsteen has an outside shot at topping the Rolling Stones 1994 record tour which earned $121.2 million. The Summer Sanitarium Tour, featuring Metallica, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Mudvayne, earned $45 million for 18 shows. Fleetwood Mac is projected to finish the year with roughly $85 million, assuming he finishes his tour. Same for the Eagles who are projected to finish the year at $68.4 million. Cher is projected to finish the year at $63 million for her seemingly never ending tour. The Dixie Chicks are expected to bring in $60 million. Billy Joel and Elton John brought in $52.7 milliom during their tour which ran to May, but do not have any other dates scheduled. Bon Jovi's tour is projected at $39.3 million, followed by Phish at $38.5 million. The Rolling Stones toured until July and brought in $37.4 million. Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera sold out every show on their Justified and Stripped tour, but only grossed $27 million due to low ticket prices. Credit: MTV I thought for sure Aerosmith/Kiss would top some of those.

~Guilty Pleasures~ It's been a while since we had a thread like this so separate the "smark" from the "mark" and fess up. What, who, which things do you like that you normally wouldn't admit about the WWE? Heres a few to start. Triple H winning. Just to see the 'net blow up about it. Sorry, but it's fun at times. Dudley's are stale but I still mark for 3D. Big Show isn't as bad as everyone says. Undertaker is on and off with me but the few times he's been in the ring recently I've enjoyed his matches.

Jeff Hardy was exposed once he started doing single matches. Tag matches were perfect for him. Get the hot tag, do some spots, take a bump, Matt does some work, Jeff goes through table.
-
Damn, I forgot about that one. That just made me laugh when I read it. Also, someone forgetting to tell RVD he was due in the ring for an Alliance promo. A few minutes into it you can see Shane McMahon talking to either Dreamer or Credible, they jump out of the ring and a few minutes later come running out with RVD. That started the whole "Austin checking his watch" thing.

I can't remember, but the match Kane tried to pulled off the "Hurracanrana."
-
I can't remember if this was the match Albert won the IC title, but his match against Kane on Smackdown in the summer of 2001 was way underrated.

You saw Disturbed in a big arena? They can only sell out a 2000 seat club here.
-
Did everyove hear how Durst is telling people Eddie Van Halen tried out for Limp Bizkit? Of course MTV news reports it as "fact" as well because Durst said so.

YES!!!!!!!!!!

I just saw this on Lance Storm's comment board.....

Relax. Cena working with Angle, won, lose or draw, will do nothing but wonders for him. Angle, he can go job 15 straight times to O'haire and Billy Gunn and people will still look at him as one of the top guys.
-
I wouldn't call that a "big" problem. At least they have a few credible guys in the main event scene and they have upper mid-carders who are ready to be pushed up. Raw has no one with credibility.

Ok, a while back MTV ran a poll for "22 Greatest Bands in the MTV era." Here was the list you could pick from. And here is what they ended up with. 1. Nirvana 2. Metallica 3. Guns N Roses 4. U2 5. Radiohead 6. Linkin Park 7. Red Hot Chili Peppers 8. Green Day 9. Pearl Jam 10. No Doubt 11. Smashing Pumpkins 12. Nine Inch Nails 13. The Cure 14. Oasis 15. Aerosmith 16. Korn 17. Dave Matthews Band 18. Alice In Chains 19. Phish 20. Limp Bizkit 21. Van Halen 22. R.E.M. This crap has been showing on MTV2. Metal-Sludge did a nice little rant about this list if you're interested.

Why the Hell is that taking up time on Raw? That should be a Confidential segment. Nice to see Jericho gets to be the first squashed by Goldberg.
-
I really don't want any of that. Triple H as a face is even worst.
-
Has it been reported as "fact" Triple H is taking time off after dropping the title or is it just speculation?
-
The Knickerbocker arena is the Pepsi Arena and the WWE comes here 3 times a year including next month for Smackdown.
-
I'd laugh if Goldberg dropped the title to Orton tonight. "I'm a legend killer" "No you're not" "Yes I am!" "You never beat me, boy" "We fight in main event tonight" "I want your ass, boy" Orton wins and then brags how he beat Goldberg and Triple H couldn't.
-
You're not the only one. It's almost a guilty pleasure of mine for Triple H to win or screw someone over. Just to see the reaction on this board the next day. Id prefer him to completely expose Bill as a shoddy worker who cant work, ala Steiner, just for shits and giggles I'd like to see Goldberg get pissed about it and kick Triple H's head off. These two really don't like each other so it should be fun to watch how stiff this match gets.

That would be the Knickerbocker Arena. I was there. I was 16, hated Hogan and was there to see Ric Flair. I went nuts when Flair won. Maybe because I was there, but that is still my favorite Royal Rumble.

Question, since they started the split PPV's, who has been getting bigger buy rates? Raw or Smackdown?
-
If Shawn Michaels can't pull a decent match out of Orton then he needs to be sent back to OVW with those French guys. I wouldn;t be shocked of the womens match steals the show. WWE should be ashamed of themselves putting this card on for a PPV. Actually, I should be ashamed of myself for chipping in $10 with my brother and uncle and giving WWE money for this crap. I'll be drinking most of the day with them watching football so by time the PPV comes on I should be numb enough to put up with this crap.

M.I.C.K.E.Y. M.O.U.S.E. Seriously, this guy must be trying to get out of his contract. Even if they do release him their throw one of those gag orders on him where he can't work anywhere else or say anything negative about the company for six months -- a year.

Triple H's Bachelor Party It's all the wrestling gossip from the Game's party... As reported earlier, Triple H's bachelor party took place this past Tuesday following the Smackdown taping. The party took place at the Doll House Strip Club. Despite the party, admission was still open to the general public as well. The party started at around 11, while Triple H didn't show up till 1:30 in the morning. When he did arrive, he showed up with Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, the Undertaker, and Kevin Nash. Triple H was late due to the fact that Vince McMahon was said to have meetings up until then. Ric Flair apparently got pretty crazy and did a table dance. Vince McMahon was said to be dancing a lot also. Overall though, most guys controlled themselves since the bosses were there. Chris Jericho (wife's pregnancy), Kurt Angle (sister's death), Steve Austin (meeting in L.A.), Kane, Rob Van Dam, and Shawn Michaels did not attend the party. Credit: 1wrestling.com/411mania
