According to Russo, the road to that cage match begins this Wednesday on TNA! This week, new number one contender Abyss faces gauntlet winner Ron "The Truth" Killings. The winner of that bout will advance to face "Wildcat" Chris Harris on March 31, whom Russo firmly believes was cheated out of the title. And how will Killings' opportunity effect 3LK going into the Tag Team Title Tournament? RAVEN PAYS THE CONSEQUENCES After costing both AJ Styles and Chris Harris their championship opportunities this past Wednesday in an attempt to further his "destiny" of being World Champion, Raven will "pay the consequences" this Wednesday night according to Director of Authority Vince Russo, who refuses to reward the superstar for his actions. --On next week's TNA, the show will be built around a tournament for the NWA tag titles with Shane Douglas & Michael Shane, Glenn Gilberti & David Young, 3 Live Kru, Slash & Sinn, The Naturals, Johnny Swinger & Kid Kash, Simon Diamond & Sonny Siaki and a mystery team, which at this point is not planned to be AMW. --Chris Sabin was announced as being injured with ligament damage from last week. He's being checked this week to find out the extent of the damage so right now everything is up in the air. The worst case scenario believed at this point is he'll be getting scoped, so he'd be out maybe two months. --They will be bringing back Team AAA for another X Cup that will be taped over the next two weeks and air on 4/7. The plan right now is for a Team Japan, but with six days left, there is no confirmation of what Team Japan will consist of. There is not even confirmation of the promotion as All Japan, NOAH and Toryumon have all been talked about. wrestlingobserver.com What if the mystery team is Hall and Nash?? p.s. PLEASE LET IT BE TORYUMON!!

Listing Of Tag Teams For Next Weeks Tournament +
BoboBrazil replied to BoboBrazil's topic in TNA Wrestling
Meltzer says the dreaded mystery team isn't all that dreaded so it must be someone pretty good. I'd say XXX just because they could go all the way through and make a big impact again. -
All I've seen is his TNA stuff so that is what I'm judging it on.
-
The thing is TNA never takes the sucky people WWE release most of the time. They did take Jamal, but it took them like 6 months before he appeared. They only take the good ones.
-
Nosawa sucks to me, but some people seem to love him sooo....

Benoit is 'just a transitional champion'...

WRONG! Took him 2 to get it back from Goldberg. Only because he was off filming a movie. -

When HHH jobs the title he always wins it back at the next ppv. I don't see why anyone would be surprised by this. -
and why would you single out Brown as someone for him to feud with? I think they should feud with Monty going over eventually and Farooq realizing that Monty is the better man and become his mentor/tag partner. I think Farooq and Monty could be an interesting tag team.
-
Farooq was one of the more popular people on the Smackdown side. You have someone that was just fighting for the world tag titles this past weekend and gets alot of exposure on tonight's smackdown. It would be stupid not to bring him in in my opinion atleast for a small program against someone.
-
Why is he too old to be anything in the ring? He was still getting big pops in WWE and seemed decent enough in the ring wrestling wise. Age doesn't matter if you can still go.
-
He didn't retire. He got fired. I highly doubt that is the way he wants to go out in wrestling. I think he could still impress alot of people and help alot of guys out if he went to TNA. He would be mostly retired and only work 1 day a week.

Probably will be AMW if they can't get anyone else. It probably won't be Hall and Nash as they cost too much and they would probably hype them up coming in. Maybe XXX reforms on the show and gets a slot(which is actually best now that I think about it). -

I hope Hall and Nash is the mystery team. I think it would be great to have them in TNA as a tag team. -

So what do they wrestle like and what other people could be on the team and do decently if Noah is chosen? I still say Toryumon would be the best choice. Everyone on their roster is entertaining and wrestles an X style. -

You got any pics of those 2? What do they wrestle like? If they picked Noah who else would be on the team besides them? -

Toryumon is the best promotion eeeever, besides those guys would likely come alot cheaper than the noah, new japan, or all japan guys. -
So will this thread actually get any posts tonight? Will Chris Harris win the world title. Who will become #1 contender? Who will Kazarian bring in with him? All these questions and more will be answered tonight! Personally I think Kazarian will bring in Low-ki to shock Elix Skipper who wants a XXX reunion. I don't think Chris Harris will win the world title. We will either see Russo or James Storm turn to help Jarrett.

NWA-TNA Notebook: Several wrestlers and even members of the office have been lashing out against C.M. Punk following his fight with Teddy Hart. One TNA wrestler took offense at Punk supposedly telling other wrestlers at indy shows that he won the fight with Hart. "If he kicked Teddy's ass so bad, why was Teddy dancing in the street while Punk was wiping the blood off his face?" asked the wrestler. Meanwhile, TNA wrestlers and office members are taking offense to Punk complaining to others that he wasn't given a chance to get over in TNA. "That's just stupid," said one source. "Punk and Julio (Dinero) were given five or six wins in a row. They didn't catch on because they didn't look like stars." A second wrestler chimed in on Punk's appearance issues. "His whole gimmick is that he's drug free and doesn't do steroids," said the wrestler. "Just because he's drug free doesn't preclude him from going to the gym." Wrestlers have also taken offense to Punk putting Ring of Honor over in his online commentary. "Punk is again showing his arrogance and how clueless he is by going on the net and burying the company that gave him national exposure and a weekly paycheck. It shows how stupid he is to want to put all his eggs in the basket of (ROH)"... That is all that was there this week...

Yeah I'm sure they will. That is the only time Jarrett will ever drop the fucking title. He sure hasn't done it in a 1 on 1 match.
-
Another Jarrett match and the same fucking ending that happens in every TNA title match. Fuck Jeff Jarrett.
-
Yeah whoever said that is pretty childish. It would be interesting to see who says this stuff to the Torch.

Kanyon can't show up for like 2 more months. TNA is definitely bringing him in then though.
