I'd call Wright a marginal #4/5 and I think that's being generous. His top 3 IP? 192.7 at 22, 133.7 at 23, and 186.3 at 28(last season). He's never thrown for more than 90.3 IP otherwise. If I were a Yankee fan, I'd realistically be hoping for 130-150 IP. At worse, I'd expect a 40-50 IP season.

I'm not big on the waiver draft idea because it nullifies the reason for that 5th keeper. Why keep 5 good players if you'll potentially lose one or get a lesser player back(one that you don't value as much)? Kinda defeats the idea of building your team behind 5 good players IMO. Why not just have us choose 6 players, keep 5 and designate the 6th to the waiver draft ourselves? This way, we can hope to nab that 6th player but won't be heartbroken if we don't get him. I just don't want to lose say my top hitter just because of some random selection and then not get him back and have to select a guy I'd normally take say 4-5 rounds later.

I'm cool with the NBA Style though I propose a quick time table, say 6-8 hours(can PM Flik with 3-4 picks in advance if you're worried) so that way the draft moves quickly and there isn't much delay between picks.

Draft sounds cool to me, I should be on by then. I also agree that 3-5 bench spots is more favorable, especially considering my luck in the NBA league(where I had 3-4 injured guys at once). If the two teams' owners are already known, then I say more the merrier.

Another downside to the weekly format is in the event of an injury, what happens then? Say Garcia gets injured on thursday, I wouldn't be able to change my lineup and switch out the injured player would I?
