I'm guessing it's his initial grab while the box has to be his taunt or down special. I'm not sure how it'd work as an actual move, though, unless it's just to shield against projectiles and such, like a lot of down special moves.

Well, he was muscling Eric around a bit, but I agree. I just wish he'd change his look some, the purple flames aren't cutting it.

Were there any significant cameos? Meh. I had my doubts when it was announced, thankfully they kept it as violent as it should be, though I still think they should've just went for the full storyline across two DVDs.

Thankfully most of what I had was common, so everything should be replaceable. I likely won't bother with NES stuff, but everything I had and more from SNES, Genesis, etc., on I'll get around to picking up again. I mainly regret Star Ocean 2 and everything Dreamcast including MvC 2. Now I keep everything I buy, but it also helps that I mostly go for cheap/discounted/used.

I've never had a thorough collection, but this makes me wish I had kept all my old systems and games. Even the Dreamcast that I had the worst luck with.

I can't imagine him not including some kind of records/rankings/standings system amongst those in your friends list anyway. Especially when he specifically said that no battle records would be kept for the With Anyone mode.

Bah. While it can be said of any character, the Ice Climbers are death in the hands of someone who can use their unique traits and abilities even moderately well. They're just hard to get the hang of.

I'm awful with the Climbers, but it doesn't make them any less fun to play with (and beat up on). The roster is at 20 confirmed. We'll be up over 25 if Captain Falcon, Falco, Ganondorf, Jigglypuff, Luigi, Ness/Lucas, and an additional FE character all make it in, which leaves 10 or so spots to speculate on.

Despite lobbying for it I can count on one hand the number of times I've been there.

I like Jarrett's as much as I can like a ripoff of Triple H's 'My Time' theme. TNA can do a lot better, in my opinion, but Oliver probably comes cheap or has a buddy there. He's had some good ones, but I'd say 95% of his work is only ripping off something else, whether it's a real song or that wrestler's past WWE theme, and even most of his good songs are still ripping off something else. They all have this similar feel or quality to them, really cheap and amateurish, honestly, almost tin like, if I had to describe it. I'd be surprised to learn that he uses more than two guitars, more than one set of drums in his work, for example, or rather, if he even knows how to use things like Pro Tools and mixing boards. Maybe he just sits at either in befuddlement.

It wasn't awful by normal standards, just thoroughly average when it needed to be a blow away effort, and Bagwell being in the match was also a huge disappointment in itself.
