From what I saw in Versus, yeah. Lots of great fighting scenes mixed with comedy, gore, zombies, etc.

I've only seen VERSUS so far - and I thought it kicked ass. I want to check out ALIVE and AZUMI next, though. I found Alive in Chinatown the other day, but that version didn't have any English subtitles, so I was out of luck. Anyone else familiar with his work?

The remake is actually really good. Just bought the Dawn release. Disappointed to see that the packaging didn't get the same treatment that last years Day release did.

Man, I'm getting raped as far as rent goes. Thank fucking god I'm buying a condo next year. So you can get raped by condo fees? Actually, I should have said townhouse. I'm just used to using the "condo" buzz word lately. The "maintenance fee" [same thing as a condo fee] for the one I'm buying is only 25 cents per square foot [800 square feet total]. That works out to $200 a month. ...that, plus my monthly mortgage rate, is less than what I'm paying in rent right now [$800/month for a 1 bedroom], and I'd actually own this instead of just throwing my money at some company with no investment whatsoever.

Plus, to all the naysayers of Day of the Dead.....it's Romero's favorite of the three. I agree with that sentiment. Day of the Dead was the movie that brought me into into the zombie genre when I was a kid. Plus, it's the one of the trilogy that the RE video games borrowed from most heavily.

Giles should always get the last spot. I wish that they really would have went through with the 'Ripper' series. That would've kicked so much ass. I was thinking, the other night, when I was watching the episode in Season 3 of Buffy where all the adults eat the chocolate bars and turn into teenagers.. a great "what if/bizarro" spin off would be Giles, Joyce & Snider as a trio of Vamp/Demon hunters, with possibly Buffy as their "leader." I laughed my ass off during that episode. The interaction between the characters was great!

I already own two of the three on DVD. I'll be picking up Dawn today [hopefully]. I'm a collector, so I don't really mind owning both the regular edition of Dawn plus the three-disc that will be coming out.

Technically it's the 5th in the series, but they didn't count Code Veronica for whatever reason. I think because it happens at the same time as RE: Nemesis.

I read somewhere that this game has nothing to do with Umbrella and it's some new "evil" - any truth to that?
