Good, it's where he belongs..

Kakihara is disappointed in Ichi for not being able to give him pain so he does the needle thing and heads to the ledge. Then he imagines Ichi coming up and cutting his forehead and then falls down. That's why when Jiji checked Kakihara, he didn't have a wound on his head. Jiji's my favorite character just for that WTF moment where he takes off his trench coat. Also...

Is that sarcasm...? Nah. I just meant...

I got mine from Toronto's downtown Chinatown district.. they sell tons of pirated Asian horror flicks there. Chances are you have something like that in NoCal? I know I found a lot of cool shit when I was in LA's Koreatown a couple years back.

"Smile Time" sounds hilarious..

Innnteresting. Mine has the trailers and photo gallery, and commentary by Miike and Yamamoto [in Japanese of course] but none of the other stuff. Have you seen Miike's Visitor Q?

I ordered the Uncut [Not Rated] SE from HKflix. What's on the Premier Asia DVD? EDIT: You should definitely see Audition. It's simply awe-inspiring, IMO.

Wow. Just. Wow. This movie was simply amazing. I tried not to fall into all the hype that I'd heard over the past year and a half, but man-oh-man, Takeshi Miike outdid himself on this one. From the blood-spraying arteries to the sick-as-fuck gore, it was top-notch all the way through. Anyone else caught this killer yet? I also picked up The Eye, Dark Water and A Tale of Two Sisters on the weekend. All horror/suspense flicks. The Eye is a Chinese movie about this blind girl who gets an eye transplant and ends up seeing things that the person who originally had the eyes saw, plus more. Not too shabby, but could've been a bit more on the scare-level. Dark Water, the Japanese flick, had to be the best out of the three. Lots of eerie occurances and Ringu-like suspense. A Tale of Two Sisters, a Korean movie, and I couldn't really rate it seeing as the subtitles on the disc I got were completely wrong. The actual flim was great, but I'm going to have to exchange this for another copy so that I can understand what's going on. Anyone else seen any of these?

Oh, I'm not disputing that. I'm also not disputing the fact that it's DC's business to make money and they can do whatever the hell they want with their franchise, so why should I care that much? How about this... Batman & Robin... Batman use a credit card.. and dont forget that awful Batgirl Superman 4(?)... Superman vs Richard Pryror Lois & Clark, the adventures of Superman... a Frog eating Lois Clone. Did you see how many past/present/future "ideas" they mixed/used in Birds of Prey? A) Superman 4 was great. B) I've never seen Birds of Prey.

Neither joke nor gimmick; but the truth as I see it. "My sake?" Am I supposed to tremble at that comment, or something?

Well said. This is just an ego motion picture. No one making this movie gives a shit about the source material. Glad you were a fly on the wall during the meetings.

Maybe so, but I hear this sort of arguement [not from you, just in general] whenever someone mentions anything pro-HHH... so it's like, either conform to the HHHate or be branded a flame-baiter...

I don't hate Benoit. But shit, Triple H is the man. His manipulations are a thing of gold. Plus, he can get a bunch of wankers on the internet all uppity about ANYTHING.

I am planning on getting RE: Outbreak when it comes out at the end of March. I was just curious, though, about the PS2's online abilities.. is there a service fee? Or can I just plug my DSL connection into the network adapter and go from there?

Yeah way to make it sound like the entire SHOW was cancelled and not just one night of taping..

I've never defended this movie and never will, but sheesh, it's been said a BILLION times [in this forum even] that this is NOT the same Catwoman and that Selena Kyle is/was her MENTOR.

Dude, if you think she comes off unattractive on TV, you should see her in person. A buddy of mine and I had a booth at a comic con here in TO a few years ago, and she had one there as well [this was before she was in WWF/E] ..and holy shit. It was like Tim Curry from the Rocky Horror Picture Show except she had manlier thighs.

Definitely. For me, Booker has the dreaded "X-Pac, aw shit, I gotta change the channel" heat..
-
Yeah, gotta love that Ron "Jermany"

Like what makes sense matters in WWEland... Besides, yes, all of those have been done to death.. but not Goldberg. I wouldn't put it past "WWE Creative" to have the strap on the line for that match either...
-
Yeah, no one wants to see that transexual naked anyways...
-
Seconded...
