Is it true that after 100 episodes, a series becomes eligible for FULL syndication and therefore the network can sell the previous 100 shows instead of spending money on new ones?
Could be one of the WB's selfish reasons.. I mean, christ, they could've done this at a better time, say before this season was written/filmed? Or at least say, "Okay guys, season six is going to be the last one, so wrap it up." You know? So at least the fans will get some closure.
I'm really hoping that UPN or SpikeTV sees the value of this show and swoops in for the save. I mean, the marketing campaign for SpikeTV alone would write itself! Not to mention it'd be a hell of a lot better than having to watch 12 different of airings of VIP or Blind Date per day...
