EDIT: I was also going to post this point in General chat.. but I'm not sure if the people I want to see it will see it.. because I know they frequent CE more often. Anyway, as a Canadian.. some of us get this GST rebate. A rebate on the Goods and Services tax. Only.. the thing is, is once you make more than a certain amount, you don't get it. I do not receive the rebate because I make too much to "qualify" for it. ..and that's what I don't get. Why don't I get it? I make more money, and therefore I pay more tax.. so why the hell shouldn't I get this rebate??? o_O I'm honestly curious if anyone knows the governments reasoning for this. It's not the money I'm losing out on that bothers me, but the principle of it.

Would I like this show? HMV is selling the first three seasons on Blu Ray for under $30 each and I was thinking of picking them up. My tastes vary greatly... Heroes.. Lost.. Freaks & Geeks.. Dexter.. Dead Like Me.. The Office.. Arrested Development.. and so-on.

I don't think it looks that bad. I mean, this kind of movie has it's place, and if it's a Punisher movie then maybe that's the place it needs to be. It's obviously not going to be the Dark Knight for crying out loud..

I thought I would hate The Batman.. but apparently it was the Kevin Conroy fanboy in me that was stopping me from liking it. Once I got over that it's not too bad of a series, actually. It's not as "kiddy" as Teen Titans, definitely not as serious as BTAS, but definitely worth giving a chance.

What UT really should've done was pulled out a basketball hoop from under the ring, rolled up Edge into a ball, set him on fire and slam dunked him for 2 points, but also sticking an Undertaker sticker on the backboard of the hoop with the other hand. *nods*

DK: I don't know how you could be a fan of TAS and not continue on to watch the New Batman Adventures. I mean, say all you want about the redesign of the caracters.. but it's the same cast and most of the original crew, and it's a direct continuation of TAS.

I thought this movie was funny.. but I actually laughed harder in Pineapple Express and in Step Brothers. Tropic Thunder had a lot of "funny for a second" monents.. but nothing that had me laughing even into the next scene like the other movies I mentioned did. Definitely didn't meet the expectations that I had for it. =\
