  1. Circle of life.
  2. You look like Tim Roth.
  3. I initially read this as saying the only thing I've ever accomplished in my life is posting at this board. I was depressed for 15 seconds.
  4. The Housemartins - We're Not Deep This song makes me wanna dance like they do in Peanuts.
  5. So, this is the kind of comedy in the "Whiny Bitches" folder, huh?
  6. Now I'm all sorts of embarassed. Here I am, starting a thread to serve as my last will and testament to this world, and all it did last night was drizzle a little. I have a hangover, so it wasn't a total bust. EDIT: Or we can just pretend I died. It's the only natural conclusion to this thread.
  7. If I had a digital camera, I'd take pictures of my imminent death, but alas... I imagine it'll look something like this, however:
  8. I've gathered up all my cherished belongings. They are forming a circle around me and my computer. So, if I die, all my shit's going with me. I'm determined to prove wrong the jackass who said "you can't take it with you."
  9. About four hours away. It'll cross nothing but land in the interim, so the storm itself will weaken, but still, it's gonna rain and wind will blow. A lot.
  10. It is my sincerest wish that, somehow, if my final post were to be cut off by a tree crashing through my roof and killing me, that my last, incomplete words will be transmitted to TSM readers.
  11. My ethernet is powered by God.
  12. People went to Disney World today, for some reason.
  13. OH SHIT SANIBEL ISLAND GONNA GET FUKKED UP
  14. This was in Cuba, but they're not Americans, so who cares.
  15. No, but I'm getting drunk, instead. Here are photos taken from http://www.weather.com (saved to my photobucket account, so this thread will be preserved for future generations, or the Classic Archives): Punta Gorda, Fl.
  16. I do not expect many replies to this thread, as it is a Friday and somehow, improbably, most of you have lives. However, since I will very likely be dead within 12 hours, this thread will serve as my epitaph.
  17. In about four hours, Hurricane Charley (just downgraded to a Category 3!) will be striking my town. I am drinking a fancy Thai malt liquor, called Singha, surfing the web.
  18. And the instrumental "Obliteration" may be a little repetitive, but Ginn does some wicked free jazz soloing all over it that more than makes up for its weaknesses.
  19. Even though Slip It In has its share of lyrical eye-rollers ("Rat's Eyes"), Rollins' vocabulary/delivery had grown beyond the terse, monosyllabic grunts found in greater wealth on Damaged. And "Police Story" was what I was thinking about in terms of lesser Flag moments. And what the fuck, dude. "TV Party" is great.
  20. Why'd it have to be Julia Child and not KJ Brackish.
  21. Damaged <<< Slip It In Black Flag's first full length is considered the pinnacle of the group's career, but Slip It In (the first non-Damaged BF album I've listened to) has so much more going on both musically and lyrically. Here I invite you to discuss, but I don't recall seeing much Black Flag talk on this board, so who knows.
  22. It sorta hangs off me, and I have an average build.
  23. Jesus fucking Christ.
