Independence Bowl isn't that bad of a bowl. Ranks behind BCS, Cotton, Holiday, and Alamo. It's also the first bowl OU made under Stoops, and the following year they won the National Championship.

Because Tommy Grady doesn't play at OU anymore...... Hey they may have beaten us bad but in 2000 and 2003 we beat them by over 50 both times. So as embarassing as this was we've embarassed them worse in our 5 game winning streak. Lucky to make the Independence Bowl? Well the rest of the Big XII isn't that good. What does OU have left? Kansas at Arrowhead? Baylor at home? Tech on the road(yeah that's a loss)? OSU(the worst team in the Big XII) at home? Nebraska on the road?(good D but no O)A&M(a bad team as well) at home?
