  1. What is the HHH burger?
  2. Like they don't already.
  3. He might be able to poke in there. His K rate is low, but if he can get it up, I think he'd be more than just solid. At any rate, he deserves some kind of job. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He has a job with the Yankees. My point was the least of the Twins concerns is starting pitching. So if they trade Hunter to the Yankees it would be for offensive players. Cano would likely be included. One problem with Cano is he's not a very patient hitter, and the Twins need to add players with plate discipline.
  4. Refresh my memory did we have have guess where the free agents are headed contest last off season? Any rumored trades or possibilities of where free agents could end up.
  5. I could see Leinart going to Tennessee. Norm Chow who groomed Leinart is the Titans offensive cordinator. It would be an easier adjustment for Leinart.
  6. Yes he would; lets not kid ourselves. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes we all know the pitching prowess of Scott Baker and Francisco Liriano... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'll guarantee right know both will better than Wang by the end of the 2006 season if not sooner. Wang is nothing but smoke and mirrors.
  7. Anyone knocking on Heaven's Door?
  8. Me. Of course, I also recognize that the Big 10 is unbelievably overrated. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Big 10 has the best depth of any conference in the country. We could see nine Bowl eligible teams.
  9. Weis is a better recruiter? He's winning with Ty's players. Also he has had what, about 1/2 of a full recruiting period ever? To say he's a better recruiter is absurd. Ty brought in Notre Dame's top 3 recievers, their starting running back, and Brady Quinn. As a head coach he's coached 6 games. I believe he may turn out a better but he is far from proven. At least Ty has been to a Rose Bowl and a has had some actual success. Weis could turn out to be great, all I'm saying is 4-2 does not make you great or even better than your predecessor. It's too early to tell right now, maybe in a year or two we will know for sure. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The incoming class is probably Top 5, if not higher. Winning with Ty's players is a point for Weis. It also shows that the team had talent, Willingham didn't get the most out of the team. Ty's Rose Bowl trip was with a 8-3 Stanford team. That was a horrible year for the Pac 10. You're correct 6 games is too early to determine someone's career. I just feel really confident that Weis will bring Notre Dame back to a national power.
  10. I flat out think Weis is the better coach than Willingham. Better game day coach, better recruiter. Also Notre Dame is starting to get that confidence back, they haven't had since Lou Holtz.
  11. Wang couldn't even crack the Twins rotation.
  12. How about contacting John Kruk to be something.
  13. I'd say the opposite. Iowa's got a tough schedule the rest of the way, but they seem to improve has the season goes on. I think they have a decent shot of getting a share of the Big 10 title.
  14. I just simulated the series and it was Astros winning 4-3.
  15. Or let's find out how good Mazzone really is.
  16. Nice signing. Wouldn't hurt the Orioles to go out and sign a couple good veteran starters.
  17. I never thought much of the Cardinals lineup outside of Albert Pujos.
  18. I think it's pretty absurd to judge a World Series before it's actually played.
  19. The dude in your avatar doesn't care about Czech Republic.
  20. The Toy Cannon deserves a ring.
  21. If you want to waste a roster spot.
  22. Pitching should dominate this series. Neither team is great offensively. Both do tend to have players step it up in big spots. Pitching sets up well for both teams.
  23. Why? He's a native Oklahoman who turned his back on the state and went to Miami.
  24. You better pick the White Sox to beat the Astros.
  25. I think that we made our picks. Not positive though.
