I'm from Boston, and am biased... but even putting Boondock Saints in the same sentence as Goodfellas is laughable. Boondock Saints was a fun movie, but in all honesty it's a glorified B-movie. Seriously, what's up with Willem Dafoe's "There was a FIREFIGHT!!!" scene? And how seriously can you take a movie featuring Ron Jeremy (in his dramatic debut, I wonder?) Again, fun popcorn flick. Goodfellas is art, though.

I get the feeling that a lot of you, when you rent a movie, you watch the first 5 minutes, then FF and watch the last 5 minutes. How much fun would Citizen Kane have been if you knew right away that Rosebud was a sled? Or, if the first time you watch Star Wars, that Darth was Luke's father? The fun of this, is the journey. Maybe I'm a little spoiled, since I watched the first 2 seasons via DVD, but I guess I like being left in the dark.

I think that Cock Sparrer is a great band, but I wouldn't classify them as Oi! really. Too melodic. The Business is a great band, probably the only Oi band to cover an elton john song. 4 skins are "eh..." nothing really inspiring. What about the Cockney Rejects?
