I just realized what I like most about this. TNA was faced with two weeks that they couldn't use the building...and there ideas to cover it were: 1. 1 cent ppv. 2. X division tournament. I wish they thought like that more often.
-
I'll tell you this though... If they don't fuck up the ineviteble break up of the team and hurt his singles career... a few years from now we'll all be talking about Shelton Benjamin being the best in the company. I like everything I see of him.
-
I've just started getting to Homicide kicking ass. I'll tell you...he doesn't look like he'd be good. But that man can go.
-
That's a good point. Borash is gonna be pulling all nighters! The problem is I won't be able to avoid spoilers... and without giving away too much...only 4 of those 8 are under actual TNA contracts of some kind and won't have to be flown in twice if they move past the first round...if you catch my meaning. Although I think I read that Nosawa will actually be debuting with the company during the tourney...so he might have a shot at round 2. What I'd really like is for Juvi to lose to someone other than Lynn...even though I liked there first match. I'd rather see another guy (sabin mostly) get that one...since he's the biggest name of the guys they're bringing in.

I would probably call Eddy the best wrestler that I see in the world today. Sure I'm limited to like...WWE, TNA and 3 month old ROH tapes...but that's some stuff...

Ozzy tries to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"
The Ghost of bps21 replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Sports
I laughed my ass off when I saw that on Sprtscenter. Good stuff. -
Not to the crowd that's going to be buying tickets to Elm Street: The first Murders. It says MURDERS right there in the title. Slice em up.
-
Don't worry. Nash will pin Jericho at the Chamber for revenge.
-
No. I didn't like any of those. I explained this in the other thread that we played this game about Booker T. Look...I like Booker, I really do. There's another thread near the top here where I explained that he was robbed at Mania this year and should be world champion. I was happy that he won the IC title and I hope he gets better quick. I do not, however, believe that he is a good worker. Hell...I'm the #1 RVD fan and I wholeheartedly believe that the man has had 1 match I'd call good...and I'm damn certain he was carried through that.

What's a fan? Our mansions have central air and everyone pays to see US*! *Despite Vengenance buyrate, TV ratings and house show attendance proving the opposite
-
I swear they should scrap RAW and just spen two hours a week showing all this behind the scenes stuff. This is entertainment.
-
A worker is a wrestler. Wrestler as in the guy in act of wrestling or working. Maybe that got confused by 20 minute promo's and Katie Vick storylines... but how can someone wrestle without working the match? *Waits for obvious Kevin Nash joke* *Then waits for answer*
-
Yes they do. Freddy the character has moved so far away from scary or even percieved as evil that it wouldn't work without showing it. What you'd have that way is everyone who sees it being pissed at how boring it was. Slice em up and remind people that he's not the good guy.
-
I've seen your list and they aren't good. Booker is not a good worker. I know that you like him. But he's not a good worker. He's a very boring worker.
-
I don't dislike Taker 99% of the time. Orton I can't stand.
-
The only one I saw was a first blood match on SD. Good for a TV match...but not "good" If there's one I missed then he was probably carried. Booker T is not a good worker...hence he only has good matches with Benoit, Angle and maybe Austin. Those are like...the best workers in the WWE.
-
Booker/Austin was not good.

Freedy vs. Jason II : Here is some information...
The Ghost of bps21 replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
I envision Freddy and Jason battling it out on screen while Ash falls from the sky behind them, lands face first on the ground, gets up , brushes himself off and says "So...what's going on here?" as they turn to look at him. After that it writes itself. -
Something that bothers me

I'm sorry but It's ridiculous to have this long of a heel title reign and then discredit any payoff going in. And as for Angle/Lesnar being the biggest storyline of the year... I seem to recall Hogan/Vince getting 99% of the advertising and buildup. "20 years in the making" and all. You can use the "Well it went on last: line...but not without trying to explain how HHH/Jericho was the draw over Hogan/Rock at Mania 18. -

So you condone ending the longest WWE title reign in years without actually putting anyone over? -
Dear Lord. It is to promote SummerSlam. I can't wait till Kimmel asks who Taker will be facing. That's the opposite of how to sell ppvs.
-
Tommy had a character arc from Fridays 4-6 In 4 he was a young kid (played by Corey Feldman) who actually kills Jason by hacking the sumbitch apart at the end. In 5 he's in an institution that's actually more like a halfway house now that I think about it. In 6 he's out and on a mission to take Jason out for good. 5 kind of sucks...but 4 and 6 are my two favorite Jason movies.

I remember a time when Kane was injured and he was the last remaining person on the roster that HHH hadn't avenged his loss too and I told everyone that HHH would be sure to collect that one before too long. With interest too, I might add now. The only person on the roster who's up on him is HBK...by one fall. -
I'm going off topic kind of... but that Armaggeddon Benoit/Eddy match was overrated. The one they just had was MUCH better than that one.
-
Taker: "...and then this one time they were going to do this Invasion thing. Well...as you could imagine I put a stop to that as quickly as possible" Kimmel: "Um...the show's been over for an hour."
