I will say that I like what they are doing to try and make the titles seem important again. All three titles have been shit on for the past few months. Jarrett's heading towards FIVE months as champion...and I don't think he's had FIVE title defenses... Sabin is the X champion...and hasn't defended in forever because of the X Cup stuff. And the tag team titles are in the garbage after the Styles/Abyss/Luger/no Luger stuff. That needs to be fixed. With the XCups taking up a week out of the month...I'm glad they've finally decided to try and fix the OTHER weeks too...with longer matches and more emphasis placed on the titles and contenders.

Yeah...that didn't last long the last time they tried it. One thing they did do a good job of establishing tonight is the main players in the title picture. Abyss, Truth (YES!), Harris, Raven and Styles were all shown to be at the level of quality contender.

Well...Spanky was released/quit in mid January (I think)...so he's got under a month to go. Kanyon was released a month after Spanky (again...I think) so he would have a while still.

Maybe at one time they could have...but I can't see them going out and begging for change after almost 2 years of letting them in free. It would, however, be a funny thing to watch.

It was a good choice for the opener...I just thought it was funny.

HA...It just occured to me that after spending a long time saying he'd "Main Event WrestleMania XX"...John Cena actually curtain jerked the show.

You better recognize! The Benjamites are taking over!! ... Anyway...yeah...that happens every match. Look at the Benoit/Angle matches. Both guys can take the first two...and then reverse into a German of their own...but that third one keeps you down.

I've watched it again...I didn't notice the chops right away (not being in the habit of judging every moment of the match until now). WOW. What was I thinking with that 1/4* rating. CLEARLY I overrated again. DUD.

Mike is right. Tis better to have a crowd that doesn't pay than no crowd at all. If they weren't putting it on TV it would be different...but you need an audience for TV.

Thinking about matches for the DVD reminded me that HHH is the storyline reason that Benoit is even in the WWE. Eddie too for that matter

I have it taped on my DVR. I only caught the end of it. I watched last weeks show and noticed the Ultimate X rig was up...so I taped this week to see if they would show the match. I'll go back and watch it...but I think it was pretty short.

This week's IWA show featured an Ultimate X match with Chris Sabin in it (annoyingly pronounced SABON by the terrible announcers).
