do me a favor and root for the Titans on saturday then I'm already rooting for the Titans. Here's a scenario. OU or LSU beats the other 42-0. Anyone think the AP will change the winner of that game to #1? Nope You'd be asking writers to vote for something that would AVOID the controversy that they want to write about.

There's some simpler ways than a playoff system to fix this. 1. Only use the BCS rankings if their is a problem between the two human polls (which there wasn't this year) Or 2. Have a one game championship between the two #1 teams after the bowls are over. Imagine how big that game would be?

Two things: 1. The computer likes to screw Pac-10 teams 2. Their QB is making me think Carson Palmer was a system QB (Well...I already thought that) and that the Bengals are holding a BUST.

That's a good question. Since the BCS has a deal with ESPN/USA Today...that poll should mimic the BCS standings in the end. But the AP poll will be different. Maybe they'll make two and you can pick.

They'll put both USC and Oklahoma (or USC and LSU if that happens) in the record books as co-national champions...just like before the BCS.

If USC loses you'll see everyone stop bitching. But if Oklahoma loses and USC wins...look out. People will be pissed off all over. It's basically saying it took the computer until after the bowl weeks to get to the same point the human polls were at.
