The Raiders aren't the bad team that they looked like in week 1. The problem they had today was that they got away from the blitzes that were destroying Buffalo because they got scared that they'd beat 1 and score a quick shot to get in the game. Instead they backed off and drowned slowly. They shouldn't have stopped attacking...the Bills offense had no answers.

The last game at Yankee Stadium is about to start. I drove all the way out to NYC and back this past Wenesday since I'd never been to the stadium and I was running out of time (cut it pretty close...). Glad I did that.

It helps to have played teams with a combined record of 0-6 after today. It's a shame they didn't get to play Houston last week. They could have been 3-0 against a combined 0-9

I've got to question what kind of clock management skills the Raiders were employing in that game. They were up 9 with under 6:30 to play with 2 timeouts. The Bills had 1 timeout. ... The Bills ended up being the team to run the clock down at the end...and Oakland flew home with 2 timeouts in their pocket.

People SHOULD be banned just for sucking. That's why there is a staff of mods and not one guy running around making decisions. They should come together and throw out all of the useless shitty posters that play here.

Wow...let's see the number of things I think are wrong with the intentional grounding call that just gave the Eagles the safety: 1. He was out of the tacklebox. 2. There was a reciever in the area. 3. The pass was tipped. ... Funnily he was down anyway...so the safety call ended up being correct...even though the call on the field was horrifically wrong.

Well...shocker of alltime...McNabb is hurt. If that INT holds up...it is an absolutely SICK catch.

I was impressed as all hell with Trent Edwards in the 4th quarter. He leads a 95 yard TD drive to cut it to 2...only for the Raiders to score a quick 84 yarder to put it back to 9. And then he leads 2 more scoring drives to win it. He was hanging in there and getting hit (specifically on the Parrish TD he got CRUSHED) but he was making the plays. I'd be impressed if he had lead the comeback without having to get the extra TD...but that they didn't slow down after that setback is pretty incredible given the Bills teams I've watched for the last several years.

What this angle is missing is the moment where AJ finally smacks someone and reminds them that he's a 3 time world champion. Other than that...I like that both sides have some good points...and I thought that Jarrett's promo came as close as anyone is going to get to make people look at Sting like he's an asshole. Which is impressive. And I thought the Angle/Jarrett stuff was absolute top notch.

Apparently Jarrett spent his time off from the ring practicing his talking. That was the best promo work of his career (not that there's a memorable heel promo to point to). He seems much better suited for this role.

I've been wanting them to dump Afinigenov for the last two years. It isn't because he'll disapear from score sheets for long stretches...it's because the motherfucker kills more rushes by putting himself offside than ANYONE in the NHL. He also loves to turn the puck over...and since he can't play even the slightest bit of defense...that's not so good.

Well...I wanted Joe vs. Sting...so I'm happy about that. I was also pulling for JJ vs. Angle and that appears to be the direction. The problem is that I was rooting for Sting to get choked out by Joe...and the direction of TV and Sting starting a new character role doesn't back that up.
