  1. I decided to be financially responsible and decided to pass on any involved vacations. I'm just going to stay local, might hit up DC for a few days at most. Other than that, read, hang out, go to some shows and loiter. Lots of low impact fun.
  2. If we could only be that lucky. Actually, it would be hysterical if they used their current guys who never worked there decked out in WCW gimmicks/gear.
  3. We're going for some defense, a great teammate and some veteran presence for the bench.... PJ Brown - PF/C * NBA All-Defensive Second Team (1997, 1999, 2001) * NBA Sportsmanship Award (2004) * J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award (1997) * One of 26 players in NBA history to have 8,000 points, 7,000 rebounds, 1,000 assists and 1,000 blocks.
  4. Why didn't you use this one?
  5. Great pick...I was hoping he would have survived till the next round.
  6. If it makes you feel better, I was debating KOW or MCMG with my last pick.
  7. Hahahahahahah. Awesome. Claudio and Hero have great chemistry as a team and I'm happy to have them as a whole.
  8. I'm sorry. I was at Wizard World Philly all weekend and am multitasking. Anyway, so tag titles are important in my little world, so I need another good working tag team. This one is going to my #2 heel team. Where ChoTen is supposed to be the quiet evil tag team, I want the next one to be over the top and goofy. Plus, they would work well with Chris Jericho, since he is the number one heel. The Kings of Wrestling - Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli
  9. My company is going to be a lot like Chikara, and the tag titles are going to be the most important. ChoTen is the dominant heel team, so I want a team that gets over as a face and would be good in the underdog role. http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6038/63...fa25wj0fvw2.jpg The Briscoe Brothers
  10. Gilbert Arenas - Guard 3-time NBA All-Star: 2005, 2006, 2007 All-NBA Second Team: 2007 All-NBA Third Team: 2005, 2006 NBA Most Improved Player Award: 2003 NBA All-Star Rookie/Sophomore Game MVP
  11. Hahahahahha...sorry dude. I made my decision last night, and when looking over the posts this morning I had a hunch that you might have been thinking about them. Either way, I had to put the team on lockdown. PS...It was nearly impossible to find a picture of the two of them together online.
  12. I was wondering who I would pick, especially since I was looking for MVC to be my super tough, dominant heel tag team. Team ChoTen -- MASAHIRO CHONO and TENZAN Chono and Tenzan will fill the evil ass kicking tag team role in my promotion just fine.
  13. MVC was an awesome, no bullshit heel tag team. You would be crazy to not want them. And BPS, I have no idea what I'm doing next so I'm assuming you'll be fine.
  14. FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! Seriously, my plan is now FUBAR'd. Just damn.
  15. I'd say no trades. The whole purpose of this kind of draft is to see who can build the best promotion/roster out of the talent available to them.
  16. Fuck indeed. Well, with him taken I know who my next two picks are and feel fairly safe with them.
  17. The Great Muta Muta and Foley are my top faces; Jericho is my top heel. My promotion is going to borrow a lot of concepts from Chikara, with the faces being more gimmicky and the heels being more rudo/dickish.
  18. Antonoi McDyess - PF/C Before his microfracture surgery, he was playing like Amare Stoudemire. Great scorer, can rebound, and can pass well for a big guy. Him backing up Moses and Gilmore is a sick three man pivot rotation.
  19. I'm blaming the slowness due to it being a three day holiday weekend. Everything should be fine by tomorrow.
  20. Portishead - NYC Live My favorite live album ever. The brilliance of their music and the additional arrangements from the NY Philharmonic are just amazing. Plus, Beth's vocals on "Sour Times" are unreal, with her getting a Johnny Rotten like snarl during the last chorus.
  21. With my next pick, I choose Chris Jericho. Where Cactus Jack is the kick ass, super tough guy that people respect, Jericho is the insufferable smart ass.
  22. Oh yeah. This is the kinder gentler Artest we all know and love.
  23. I was debating him or Foley. Damn.
  24. with my next pick, Ron Artest - Forward 2004 Defensive Player of the Year 2004 All-Star 99-00 All Rookie Team (2nd) 02-03 All Defense (2nd) 03-04 All Defense (1st) 03-04 All NBA (3rd) 05-06 All Defense (1st) One of the top 5 steals per game five out of the last seven games Why Ron-Ron? Great defender against multiple positions, and he can score. As far as team chemistry is concerned, he'll fit in just fine. My coach is Auerbach, who went out of his way to help get Kermit Freaking Washington back into good standing, so Artest would be cake. Plus, playing with all kinds of legends would only keep him motivated.
  25. FUCK....back to the drawing board.
