  1. I just picked up the deluxe addition of JLA/Avengers. Perez's art is great at the larger size.
  2. I like how someone on the panel goes "take it easy" to him. It's still real to me.
  3. I did like the sequence with one of the AMWers and one Natural fighting on the edge of the stage. Actually, this is a problem that I've been following TNA for a year and still can't tell the members of tag teams apart.
  4. I'm quite serious as well. I can crank out some music and comics stuff.
  5. I'm all for a new Kickers Inc.
  6. Count me in.
  7. If anyone needs help with any proofreading and such, let me know. That's what I do for a living.
  8. I never thought that 3MW was supposed to be black, they didn't do anything to portray themselves that way. They were just thugs that happened to be Samoan and have a fondness for rap music. As opposed to wrestling in a diaper like Rikishi.
  9. double post
  10. Kudos to the TNA crew for actually involving a mainstream sports figure and actually getting some decent coverage for it.
  11. Like Strummer mentioned, "Vincent Kennedy McMahon" and "shame on those guys" lend itself to Jericho's personality. Benoit doesn't have the humor to call Vince by his first, middle and last name. This is what a Benoit email would sound like: "I'm really angry for what Mr. McMahon did on Smackdown. It made me really angry and sad for my best friend, Eddie Guerrero. It was wrong and made me really angry -- so much so, that I headbutted my keyboard 10 times and busteisd myself open hardway after writing this email" You makehim sound like he's Chuck Norris. I think that Jericho is behind this e-mail and I do hope that Benoit reconsiders staying with the WWE.
  12. Starting with how Ronin has no feminine features whatsoever.
  13. Regardless of his sobriety at the time, I'm sure we will be talking about his speech for a long time.
  14. I'm assuming these people will be inducted: • Road Warriors because of the Chicago connection • Eddie Guerrero do to his passing • Dusty Rhodes, Ted Dibiase and Ricky Steamboat thanks to them all being employees • Ric Flair (the combo of him and Rhodes would propably be enough of a ratings draw)
  15. Does anyone have any hints about the irish whipping in the game? I'm getting my ass handed to me thanks to a lack of ability with it.
  16. I'm playing season with Christian. Cena and Big Show do a Flair impression!
  17. I don't mind it too much. It's better than the usual assortment of random generic crap.
  18. I can have a stable come out to "Symphony of Destruction"? Greatest game ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. THREE Green Lanter related books? Freaking sweet!
  20. I guess the only reason Nunzio got the CW title was because that was the night they were in Italy. Still, good business move by having a title change(s) at non-taped shows and abroad.
  21. But if Angle leaves and looks foolish, it is a great way to get him to take time off. That would work, since WWE is all about taking care of its workers now.
  22. I saw Hypocrisy this past spring...very good live show.
  23. CM Punk's Pepsi Tatoo is a straight edge reference based on the Pepsi slogan "the choice of a new generation". <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah, I don't think it's because "it's a choice of a new generation" I think it's because Pepsi isn't Coke. Get it? Coke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Straight from the mouth of CM Punk confirms that it's because of his love for Pepsi when he growing up watching saturday morning wrestling and because it was his way of saying fuck you to the bullies from High School who had beer logos tatted on them. However, Pepsi logo is a standard icon in the sXe world and for that "next generation" slogan. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not disagreeing (and am not going to get a response, since he's banned & all) ... but how long has Pepsi been the official icon in the sXe world? It was Coca-Cola for as long as I can remember (meaning from the days of SSDecontrol, DYS, and Minor Threat). Just curious. I couldn't agree more about Murdoch, RRR. Hopefully he grows into his look and picks up the abilities to match the aesthetics. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pepsi came up with the "Choice..." slogan around the early 80s, just as Straight Edge was starting to pop up.
  24. Why did they release Torrie Wilson again?
