I'm already familiar with Hüsker Dü, Incandenza. Feel free to recommend things though. Obscure things, preferably. Like that Seamonsters. I never heard that. I heard about it though, so it could be more.

Grand Funk should get back together.

I've got the special edition... I've turned out to like them enough that being a completist would be nice. They put out so much obscure junk I doubt it'd happen though. By now I've heard all their most highly recommended albums, save Eskimo, which I hear is grand, so I'm looking forward to it.

So it was a good thing I asked. If Mount Eerie was distinctive, I probably wouldn't like the rest so much either, because at the time I thought "This could be kind of annoying if they handled it a little differently." The percussion in Mount Eerie was the best part.

Oh hey, Incandenza. I listended to that Mount Eerie album a while back, and it was pretty good. Do you suppose the rest of the Microphones albums are worthwhile? And which one first?

Oh yeah, I remembered another cool band. The Berzerker.

Incandenza knows a lot of things about certain kinds of music. Perhaps I can use this as a general glean of what he knows. Hey Incandenza... Which Magazine album should I buy/acquire if I've never heard the band before?
