  1. good thing about all the remakes Hollywood and co. are doing nowadays: the original films get packed re-releases on DVD. Great news!
  2. The next couple of weeks I'm interested in The Brothers Grimm, but that's about it.

  6. It's a multi-platform list, I don't see the problem with that. although come to think of it...Monkey Island 2 not being on there kinda pisses me off.
  7. I don't know why they didn't do that already. he has a decent size, can work well in singles and tags and is one of the funniest, most entertaining wrestlers I know. I haven't seen the match Rudo was so fond of, but he had other great comedy matches in ROH and elsewhere.
  8. why? because of nostalgia? sensible soccer was great and innovative, but it's not even close to the quality of the Winning Eleven series. And i'm not talking about graphics or presentation, I mean actual gameplay, the controls, AI and the plain fun it provides in single and multiplayer matches. Other than that I actually like the list. I need to finally check out ICO and System Shock 2.
  9. http://top100.ign.com/2005/index.html Not one Winning Eleven title on the list is ridiculous, but I guess I can't expect a soccer game to appear on an American Top 100.

  11. Heyman should of course be a part of it, but he's difficult to work with if he has to answer to other people. He could be fully in charge of bringing new talent into the WWE and finding stuff to do for stale existing guys. Developing characters, creating feuds, everything. He'd also be an important consultant for all other areas. Mick Foley as head writer. He has tremendous wrestling experience and he can actually 'write'. How about that. He's also still young enough to connect with their target demographic better than anyone I can think of for this position. I know that many people hate Johnny Ace, but he's great at match planning and should be in charge of that along with Pat Patterson. All the wrestlers should have input concerning their own character. You could still have one or two 'hollywood' writers who know wrestling and can help scripting segments and developing storylines. Their long list of agents like Arn Anderson, Malenko, Steamboat, DiBiase etc. should of course have input as well. But the main responsibility should be on Foley and Heyman.
  12. the log looks fine. could be a hardware problem. have you checked if any cords, RAMs, PCI or AGP cards have come loose? or maybe your processor is overheating, you should be able to check the CPU temperature in your BIOS (press DEL at startup).
  13. do you have anything Norton running? Like Internet Security or AntiVir? If you do, try alternatives and get that crap off your PC. to help us find the problem you could use hijackthis* and post the logfile here. Using Windows ME is a problem in itself btw. *http://www.snapfiles.com/get/hijackthis.html

  17. 1996 also had Fargo, Trainspotting, Sling Blade, Bound, Breaking the Waves, From Dusk Till Dawn, Mars Attacks!, Primal Fear, Scream, Sleepers, The Rock and I'm sure I've missed some. I don't believe in bad movie years. 1979? Life of Brian 1947?

  21. download azureus* and open the torrent with it. the interface should be self-explainatory (sp?). Some trackers (= keeps track of all clients that are downloading/serving the file) require you to login at their site. Since it's a wrestling torrent there's a good chance it uses pwtorrents** as its tracker. Go there and register before trying to download anything. If it doesn't work Azureus will give you an error message that should explain what's going on. * http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php (download and install Java too) ** http://special.pwtorrents.net/browse.php
