  1. I still keep up with TNA, since I read Voice's Rush (as I format and post it), and watch Impact. And I'll start ordering the PPVs again once JJJ loses the title. As for a TNA folder mod...one isn't really needed that badly now. But, if y'all feel like you need one, I'll take the job if you want me to.
  2. I'll just quote my girlfriend on this: THAT is where the hate comes from. I can stand maybe one song by them, "Tourniquet," and that's because of the guitar riff (which, surprisingly, sounds like something you'd hear from a Gothenburg band). The only thing at ALL they had/have going for them is Amy Lee, who's somewhat attractive and has a really good voice. The lyrics suck, the music sucks, and the band sucks. Now, Lacuna Coil...ownage. It's pretty much like the people in Evanescense went "hey, this band Lacuna Coil is making some pretty big waves in Europe, but get no airplay in the States...let's rip them off and simply the music and lyrical content entirely!"
  3. Mike Voice Coffey Although Coffey and Mike would murder each other while me and Voice did PBP for it.
  4. Did you stretch before the jogs? Padding your feet properly? How fast are you jogging? Distance?
  5. EDDY EDWARDS~!~!~!~!!~~ The kid's gonna be a BIG name on the indy circuit one day. Mark my words. I won't be shocked if he's signed by TNA or WWE within the next two years, either.
  6. I know some do, but I don't think that many of them. A few NECW wrestlers trained at SlamTech, though.
  7. I do the formatting. I just didn't close the Bold tag after the "MATCH 1:" part by accident. My b.
  8. There are only two New England-based indies that are really worth a shit, and those are Chaotic Wrestling and New England Championship Wrestling. NECW has future stars in Eddie Edwards and "The Promise" Antonio Thomas, and a solid roster that knows how to get fans into a match. Plus, Mercedes Martinez is a pretty damn good women's wrestler. VERRRRRRY stiff. So, if WWE gets a NE indy to be its developmental territory? It should be NECW. They do tours all over New England, and the shows are usually quite good.
  9. Dammit! Spiff took my Chewbacca joke! And yes, Yellow Hat Guy...it DOES kind of look like a Juggalo...only ICP are better in the ring.
  10. Meh. Jon Schaeffer's a bitch-ass that couldn't lick Zakk Wylde's ass-sweat in ANY department (lyrics or songwriting). No harm, no foul. I think he doesn't understand that the bases of the two parties, Democrats and Republicans, changed drastically over the last 140 years, though...
  11. Sorry, but the beginning of the breakdown in "Angel Of Death" owns all of these.
  12. dv, I've been ranting to put Kash in the ME since he became a GREAT heel last September/October. Hell, for three months, he was the single most over heel TNA had. His mannerisms are impeccable, he can hold his own in the ring, and while his voice is a little awkward during promo's he usually says some good stuff. Plus...HE FEARS NO MAN!
  13. I still don't see what's so awful about the Redshirt gimmick. They were the personal hired thugs of Don Callis and, later, Jeff Jarrett. So having enforcers is bad these days?
  14. He is a robot. And what's with ragging on the guy for having a different opinion than the rest of you, especially when he's admitted over and over that he's biased because he loves Kane? Jesus, some of you need to get the fuck off of your thrones...
  15. But AJ is being devalued by not offering a reason for going back to the X-Division. He never said he lost to people he used to own, so he's "going back to his roots." He just kinda appeared in the X-Division again. Go, TNA booking, go!
  16. So...they threw it out because he doesn't have full legal rights to act as his daughter's legal representative, and not because it says "under God" in it? Okay...
  17. It does not. Jefferson suggests early on in the Declaration of Independence that the governed have the right (and in fact the duty) to rise up against an oppressive tyrant who disregards the inalienable rights all people are endowed with by the creator (thus any government which tries to restrict or check them is illegitimate). But the Declaration of Independance has no legal power or authority in American Government. It's a statement of Poltical Philosophy (and a rather radical one at that) written to justify in intellectual terms a rebellion that had already started. We just happen, in general, as a country, to be rather proud of it and ascribe a lot of symbolic importance to it (we use its publish date as our day of national independance -- July 4th -- for example). It's Jefferson's theory and opinion. Separate and Distinct from the Constitution in every way, and with no legal authority. Ah, that's what I'm confusing it with. I knew it was in one of them. Picked the wrong one.
  18. Ummmm...INXS isn't saying the government is evil. He's saying that the people doing the luggage inspection feared for their jobs, so they planted some evidence in the case that they were going to be cut. It's really not hard to think that. I highly doubt, if at all, this goes higher than some workers wanting to keep their jobs because they haven't found anything, if it's even occurring at all.
  19. I'd include the first non-ladder Ki/Styles/Lynn, which they did here, since it wasn't on any prior DVD. They also included Styles' defenses against Brown and Ki, but shoud've also included his defense against Lynn, and maybe his X-Division title loss to Lynn that ended the feud. Also...why no love for the 2/3 Falls match with Lynn that LEAD to the Triple Ladder match? On no DVD so far, and it was better than the Triple Ladder match. 2/3 Falls with D'Lo would've also been good, I think.
  20. It's such a cont... ...such a cont... ...such a cooooontt... ...such a coooooooontinuin source of jokes.
  21. ...she turns into an old male hippie?
  22. I'm getting "JOSEPH" on the inside of my right arm and "SYLVIA" on the inside of my left (grandfather's name). I also want a barcode on the back of my neck that would read "FREEDOM OR FIRE" and maybe my birthdate under it, and a symbol me and my girlfriend came up with that has a phoenix in front of an Iron Cross that I'd get on my right arm somewhere. I'm also getting the Misfits fiend logo (the skull) on my left arm with "138" under it.
  23. I also don't mind Matchbox 20 too much, and can tolerate the first Third Eye Blind album.
  24. Can't I just read his book again and guess what he'd feel about the current scene? I mean, he's a very bitter old man that was big in the 80's...so I can imagine what he'd think about spotfests.
  25. It could. UPW has their DVDs nationally distributed, and they're just an indy fed with no national exposure. TNA has a weekly national cable television show and a weekly Pay-Per-View.
