*stunned silence that some people actually think Steiner should get a title push, even on SD*
-
*honks the "NOBODY GIVES A FUCK" horn. Doesn't this belong in the "compressed mess of pointless shit news thread" we're supposed to have every day?

Does anyone actually like Love Hina, or is my perception that's a stupid, unfunny mess of female-on-male violence correct?
-
Pfft, yeah right.

Big Name Rappers To Appear At WWE Pay-Per View?
AndrewTS replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Yes, because if you listen to rap you can't possibly be a mature adult. Fucking idiot And your post proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt. Yes, because listening to death metal and the like makes you so mature Aaand, you're talking to whom? I don't listen to death metal. However, you don't get that lashing out and swearing makes you anything but mature. -

Yes, but Sony America were having a real problem with Metal Slug 3. I don't recall price ever being an issue in the whole thing. I have no problem with what they did with the PS1 Mega Mans, and it's a shame Nintendo is doing the same damn thing with their GBA/NES line.

If Jackie were Japanese... http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=1808

What old Megaman Collection? You mean the shameless ripoff scheme Capcom pulled in Japan where they'd release the original games ONE PER DISC individually on the PS1? Also, who said those "old" games had to be full price? There have been budget games released for $10-$20 bucks for a while now. KoF99 was 10 bucks new, I think.

"I'm a professional prostitute, and that, after all, is what all performers are: prostitutes." -- Kevin DuBrow Don't tell me Foley isn't, because he is one. He's a performer in the business, and one of the biggest ones out there when it comes to "whoring."

Because Lex Luger's involvment in Liz's death actually got mainstream coverage and the steroid incident was another covered story... That's odd, I don't recall it being covered by any non-wrestling media outlets. I'm sure the local news in the area it happened covered it, though. Still, why would they care to give a smidgen of attention to that insane carnie Vince? They tend to pretty much ignore him after the Billy/Chuck incident.

ChrisMWaters kinda started a similar thread--this could have gone in there. Well, this is kinda cawthon's thing, but I'll bite. I remember nothing else about the 1999 PPV but the Owen incident. Nothing on that card seems to remotely ring a bell except for the Gunn/Road Dogg feud. It was the day after my birthday, too... I don't even remember Mr. America vs. Piper happening. Some one told me it actually happened on another message board, but I have no memory of it.

Screw that. I want to see if Luger and Billy Gunn can both exist together side by side.

"I think the reasoning behind that is that it's near the Holidays, and they don't try as hard as they can." So that explains all those crappy Starrcades...
-
It works! It appears you only had to add an "s" and change one word. Too perfect. I disagree about it being the funniest thing you ever posted, though.
-
Could be. They managed to have Eddy vs. Benoit on the card, and even that match was a letdown. Actually, wasn't Armageddon 1999 shockingly good? The card didn't look too good, but people were busting ass and it was pretty entertaining up and down the card. Oh, and it had b00bi35 LoL!~

"but again WWE would be fools to do this. The press won't respond nicely for vince hiring a guy who was arrested for Possesion of Steroids and other shit and was a suspect in a murder investigation of his girlfriend." Actually, they won't respond at all. They didn't care the last time he hired an ex-con (Nathan Jones). Why would they care now?

Well, she's perky at least. Can't complain about that in a manager/T&A girl/bukkake target. "However, if your dream is to become a professional wrestler or a professional plumber" ...who says you can't do both?! "that's right, Rico is fruity and, well, I have melons!), " LOL2004!!!!~~~~~ Some one needs to tell her that slang and certain other expressions really do not require quotation marks. "I do one day hope to be battling it out for the Women's Title, and that is a main career goal of mine." So, they'll probably let her do that when...she's at least as good as Lita?

I'm almost positive that's how it worked out, because I played through the game about 4 times and generally I saw it in the same places. For example, it may be in one area the first time you enter it, or in an area you've been in before after returning from completing a certain event/beating a certain boss.

"Let me first say that there really is no RAW vs. SmackDown! as far as for better or for worse." BWAHAHAHA!!!
-
Which was? No one is denying it was a smart business decision for WWE, however we're placing the blame on Mick for being a hypocritical whorebag. In fact, the story was that Foley called WWE and wanted to do the program.

I'm hoping Sting can help Luger turn his life around, but that would have to happen and he'd need to be able to get in 1989 condition before I'd want to watch him in a match again. Gee, I wonder why building stars takes time?

Metal Slug/KoF Combo for PS2? I wonder which ones. KOF 2002&2003? Sweet. Maybe this means Sony's loosened up a bit about their 2D hatred.

Gee, now THERE's an involved answer. The biggest complaint I heard about Fusion (and one I happen to agree with) is that having the stupid computer there to tell you what to do and when--it killed the non-linearity of the game dead. In a freakin' Metroid game, I do not want a damn computer to tell me what to do. Screw that. At least it was far, far better than the movie it was based on (Alien: Resurrection). I agree. You know this uber-powerful enemy is roaming around the ship, trying to kill you...and if you run across it you have to avoid it at all costs until you're strong enough. It was a cool idea and pulled off very well, I think. How's Zero: Mission by the way? I'm thinking of picking it up.
