So, is Austin going to tie Long to that thing for a good ol' draggin'?

You know, I'm beginning to think that the WWE is PAYING Square-Enix to get those commericials. How else could you Americans be plagued by them? I say American, becuase I hardly see them (and I'm Canadian). I got the damn game! WHY HAVEN'T THE COMMERCIALS STOPPED?!?! *sucks thumb* Squeenix is pure evil? Trust me, I've played Tactics Advance. *shudder*

?!?! The same "put me in a storyline that doesn't involve me showing off my tits and ass on a nightly basis and watch the ratings drop" Torrie Wilson and "hasn't been on TV very much lately--thank God" Sable?! Oh well, consider the source...

One of the Roberts was supposed to be Pyron, maybe?
-
No complaints here. I was likely going to stick with my same old unimaginative screen name anyway.
-
It would be nice if they did that trick for a face who actually wrestles on a regular basis for once, though.

Update, in case anyone cares: I ordered a VPW2 online off Ebay. Cost me $54.99 after tax and everything. Which is a far cry from $69.99 + shipping and handling, etc. "I got VPW2 off Ebay(best place I found), and to fit it inside your 64, you just have to saw off a couple of pieces. Don't worry about any converters. Will take 5 mins at most. I can explain further, and show pictures if you choose to go that route. " Please do. However, I was planning on getting a GS anyway, so may not need to do that. I'd imagine that it works like this though: see those notches on the bottom end of the US N64 carts? Make it look like that, right? Seems simple enough.

They have potential! Give them a chance! Didn't JR himself call Austin a hoss at least once?

Pyron I forgot so sorry. As for wolverine he's a marvel character, his character has been long established before he was in a fighting game. ? Try to make it clearer next time, because Wolvie fits that description. You should have provided a clearer description, but I suppose now that you were referring to characters such as Athena, the Ikari Warriors, Guy and Haggar? Will Pyron come up next round then? Favorite character, based on whatever criteria you choose.

Heheh, I discovered that when I fought him originally myself. Also to clear up a common rumor, Culex has not been in any Final Fantasy game. It's likely that he was a planned boss that didn't make it into FFIV, but that's it. Back on topic--Zophar in Lunar 2 comes to mind. First you fight him in a straight up slugout, then you fight a second form where you basically wait for Lucia to finish her monologue, then you're restored to full power and fight that form again, then you fight him one more time in a battle that you pretty much can't lose. Not terribly hard if you have MP restoring items (if not, you're screwed), but looong.

Indeed. At least the SNES boxes were somewhat durable, because those inner cardbard SNES cases could stand up to a good bit of pressure. The Sega boxes? *Squish* Also, the manuals for those were all Xerox-looking jobs. No color and cheap paper. DH: For you and those wanting boxes, I'll hold off on the full list until Tuesday--I may get more then. I'll basically just like whatever amount it costs shipping and maybe a buck or so extra. Paypal would be best since its free. The Bad Guy: I have the cases/instructions for Bloodlines, but it's the paper box. I haven't modified it yet though. Lion King- I have it in both paper and plastic, with the instructions for both. NBA Jam Tournament Edition- 32x and Genesis versions both. Shockingly, Acclaim stuck to using the plastic boxes all the way to the bitter end. Sonic The Hedgehog- I have the Sega Classics box and instructions. Looks cooler IMO. Streets of Rage 2- Got it, but with the game too, so I wanna keep it. WWF Royal Rumble- Got it. I got the game too, but I'll be willing to part with the box and instructions as well. BTW, for the Sonic and Knuckles case, I modified an EA game box but clipping off some of the inner plastic--so the bastich ACTUALLY FITS IN THE BOX! I knew those EA boxes had to be good for something. (I got a good number of EA boxes, which won't be as useful as the rest)

Ditto.

Bad Guy: I've got some of those... DerangedHermit: Tomorrow if I get a chance I'll put up a full list.
-
No X-Men 2, just the original X-Men box with instructions. I have the SFII SCE, but same deal with the Sonic and Knuckles box--the inner boxes were both beaten up pretty badly.

You sure about the death metal thing? I'd somewhat disagree with that--of course, I dislike it, so maybe that's why. I'm in the minority on that I suppose. Metallica = HHH -- wow, I see the parallels. Most of the others seem to click well. Especially... Hogan and Ozzy have lots of similarities as well, however, a lot of the IMC still admires his old work but the IWC, while recognizing the importance of Hogan in the 80's, would pass on most Hogan matches unless it was a genuinely good one. What's the equivalent to Randy Rhoads, then? Or the IMC's equivalent of Vince, if there are such animals? Hmmm--you know what, didn't Metallica tour with Iron Maiden during the early 90's, and Metallica (probably Lars mainly) got really pissy about Maiden playing last instead of them? I know nothing recent comes to mind, but I seem to recall that. I still prefer the HHH=Metallica one, but note Metallica's "new look" during the Load album thing.

I kinda did, but the inner part was so beat up I couldn't hang onto it, so I modified it to fit into a regular casing. No manual. I have the manuals for a lot of the boxes as well, BTW.

I've been stocking up on old Genesis game boxes that used places around here were just going to throw away. If anyone's interested, reply or PM me, I'll let you know what I've got, and if interesting you can make me an offer. Some of them I've kept to go with my cart-only used games, but a lot of them are for games I don't have and don't plan on getting.

I don't think Blockbuster is selling N-Gages. Well, if you want to be technical, I don't think any stores are selling N-Gages. *rimshot*

Ewwwwwww Kudos on hard corps and Mischief makers though. Hey, it's not the first CV on N64! It's not that bad! Someone who really likes it told me to at least give it a shot. It's not really CV, but camera issues aside it's an interesting game. As for Hard Corp--since I suck at that game... *holds up Game Genie* NOW I MIGHT STAND A CHANCE!!

Would I need a powerful computer? Mine's rather old: a Presario 2240, but it was custom build and had additionally memory added I think. -
I now own the Sega and Nintendo Slammasters games. After playing them back to back--man, Sega owners got screwed. Basically, here are the differences: + Positives + There are more/uncensored text quotes on the Sega version. Scorp and Jumbo Jack are playable in ALL modes on the Sega version. - Negatives - No multiplayer, so the only modes of play are singles vs. the computer, vs. a human, and the Deathmatch, which you can only play vs. a human (because the programmers were too lazy to make the A.I. learn how to fight in that style of match, I reckon). Less colors Poorer music Instead of 8 stars of difficulty, only Easy, Normal, and Hard are selectable, and Easy ain't that easy because the computer is lightning-quick with grapples on the Sega. Considering that WM: The Arcade Game on Genesis was able to get four different character sprites on screen at once, I'm rather peeved multiplayer was axed. Making it only one-on-one kinda tears the heart out of the game. Damage ratios also kinda seem wonky--SNES matches seem to be far longer and more satisfying. I love the game, either version, but what the hell did they do with the extra year the Genesis version took to make? If they kept the multiplayer, and allowed you to fight in Deathmatches vs. the computer--perhaps a Deathmatch Team Tournament--it would have been the ultimate version and worth the wait. Sadly, it didn't happen.

I don't get the technobabble here, but I wanna know--if I know someone with a burner can I play the game on the DC/PS/etc? Or only works on a computer? -
I picked up a bunch of cheap N64 games used, what with Gamestop doing this "buy 2 used get one free" dealy. WCW/nWo Revenge (49 cents!) Mischief Makers Doom Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness Starfox I also got the SNES Slammasters and Contra: Hard Corps for Genesis.

"Monkey Nipple?" "Time to Play the Game?" "Ruthless Aggression?" "Get Out of My Yard?/This is My Yard?" Funny thing is, as Czech Republic pointed out, "Here comes the pain" sounds like something you might say to your partner just prior to anal sex...
