Coach is taller than Austin! Although I guess this means that Coach is going to interfere at Survivor Series, or something.

Contract signing?! GHEEEEEEEEEEY!!!

Metroid movie; see: the Alien movies.

Yeah, but Kwang has the distinction of being a secret character for the 32X version of WWF Raw. HA!!...

Will Lesnar/Goldberg even happen at Wrestlemania?
AndrewTS replied to JN News's topic in The WWE Folder
Who's dream is that? They should be hit about the nose with a rolled up newspaper. Bret Hart's, maybe? He's secretly hoping that Lesnar "accidentally" injures Goldberg to retirement? But Bret isn't bitter at/angry at Goldberg. Now, Shawn Michaels or Vince... -
Where do "hossu" come from? Did Andre tour over there 20-some years ago, and net a bunch of Japanese ring rats?

I had a feeling of deja vu...is this a revived thread? *checks date* No. Hmmm... -
The One and Only Smackdown! HCTP Thread

A little tip for those with Cruiserweight CAWs--put the classification on Heavyweight or Superheavyweight. That way, you can still lift fatasses (although sometimes you have to weaken them a bit first) and if you're set on Superheavy you can't be tossed around very easily. BWAHAHA! Shame that the legends lack their real themes, since a good portion of OS Taker and LOD's appeal were their entrances. -
I always though the return would be after Survivor Series anyway. *shrug* Oh well, old Taker marks need to just play Here Comes the Pain and hum the classic theme to themselves in the meantime.

Who cares if it happens? The rest of the product is bordering on unwatchable.

The Cornette/Jimmy Hart gene splice.

That's what I'm assuming is the idea. No, Kof games actually have continuity to them (besides 2002). ...and 98 aka Dream Match 99.
-
I remember him not having a full set of teeth in the WCW days. When he's out on some kind of TV show I've seen him use fake teeth. Personally, I think Benoit should go for the Kawada look with his teeth. If he ever loses any more he should keep them out. It'd make his smile all the more merry. Maybe Nancy is like Colette Foley, and finds the gap-toothed look sexy.

I figure they wanted to change his character design more to Garou. Hell, he's been wearing the same outfits for 10 years or so, about time he changed, eh? And here you go, this is Rock in KoF 2001 and 2002. Unless he hit a major growth spurt, it's impossible for him to be an adult in 2003. Then again, if Bao was able to fight in KoF 99, if they wanted to make him a fighter at this age then I suppose they could. (On that note, anyone who has seen the KoF 99 art gallery may have noticed Bao's big secret.) Tizoc's in it, but hey--maybe this is his debut in a martial arts tournament. Of course, if KoF 2003 is announced to...you know, not take place in 2003, then I could be wrong. Wouldn't make sense to jump 5 years + ahead and mislead people in your game title.

...in Sakura's opinion. Generally, I buy used. However, the titles I can't wait for that are either new or coming soon... SD: HCTP--well, I just bought it. Metal Slug 3 (if it comes out to American PS2) King of Fighters 2000 and 2001 (reserved it) Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (need to rent it to be positive) Possibles: Viewtiful Joe Billy Hatcher & the Giant Egg TMNT I won't be going broke because I should be getting the $3,000 back I paid of tuition whenever the hell my financial aid goes through, but my bank account will take a major hit between this and gas money.
-
If you mean KoF 2003, no. Renegade said about that Garou takes place in 2008, so it wouldn't fit in storyline-wise. Rock would still be a kid.

Don't forget Akeem, The African Dream. And Fatu as the Sultan, and arguably Rikishi. Hmmm... Japanese hoss?
-
During one of their feuds in a Japanese tournament, Chris Jericho knocked it out with a Dragon Punch. ...or maybe I got confused playing Here Comes the Pain back to back with Street Fighter Alpha 2. *shrug*

Yeah--if there are roughly-as-effective legal supplements, what's the point in risking using illegal substances?
-
In Japan he would be referred to as "hossu." In regard to the whole rugby thing, I can see Johnny Ace and Jim Ross going at it in the Talent Relations department. Ace: I want Japanese wrestlers! Ross: I want football players! Ace: No! Japanese! Ross: Football players! Both:...JAPANESE FOOTBALL PLAYERS! HHH: Good call, guys. ::poses, spits water:: HA!...well, now this all makes sense in WWE logic. So, how big is a Japanese hoss? 6'3"?
-
The kind of team you're talking about would be like...say...the Hardyz were, right? It's not like we have to go back to the 80's to find a comparable example, you know. I doubt it will happen since these days either the teams are long-established ones that are horribly stale or patched-together from guys who couldn't get over separately. Then, when a team gets over, WWE wants to bust them apart and try to push one as a singles star.

I've actually mistaken Kerry for Warrior a few times in old rumble clips. TCR: That's quite an insane idea, so much so I'd guess that ChrisMWaters came up with it.
-
Lord knows no one thinks Eddy and Kurt are on steroids. With the possible exception, of you know, everyone. Angle's probably on supplements, but his neck's always been huge--hell, look at his family.

Yeah, personally I'd like to see a more old-school RPG like the first two Suikodens, which I loved. They just took advantage of the CD format for awesome 2D visuals and music.
-
Well, they built up matches for next week, so we'll see. I wouldn't hold my breath though--ratings probably will be higher. After all, the success of reality TV, modern pop music, Limp Bizkit, the 2000 identical stupid sitcoms on network TV, a number of movies #1 at the box office, etc. tells you that America loves crap.
