  1. No, you didn't imagine it. That's how it went down. I'm still waiting for a heel to carry around a bell to make Festus do his bidding. Then we get the epic Festus overcomes the bell storyline.
  2. I think it would be cool if he grew out the beard and his hair a little more and adapted a wild brawling style like Brody.
  3. Saving your partner is a DQ now?!
  4. Hahah, did you try the pepsi machine?
  5. I think Booker might be taking the title here.
  6. Colin Delaney should bust out his tassles, maybe it will help him get some more wins.
  7. Show begins with the usual dose of bad news: as announced yesterday, Jack Evans had been pulled by AAA. Further, Jay Briscoe no-showed with a text about being worried about a dude circling around his house (a shoot, I guess, albeit a weird little one). Jay has been fired. Roddy asks Generico to defend the tag belts with him tonight, and Generico accepts. Attendance is in the 350-400 range. 1.) Brandon Bonham beat Arik Cannon with a flipping piledriver (okay opener, with Bonham's big offense getting over well) 2.) T.J. Perkins & Hook Bomberry beat Mikey Nicholls & Charles Mercury with a bodypress reversal/tights-grab (TJ & Hook are really catching fire as a heel team and it was nice to see Charles back; a little disjointed, but a good match) 3.) Claudio Castagnoli beat Phoenix Star with a giant swing (fun, as Claudio versus a flyer will always be, but a few awkward moments, and the crowd wasn't really behind Phoenix Star) 4.) Necro Butcher beat Kikutaro via knockout (Kiku got knocked unconscious when he asked fans to throw a chair in the ring and got a dozen; a wildly entertaining comedy match, and worth seeing) 5.) The Young Bucks beat the Dynasty (Joey Ryan & Scott Lost) and KAZMA & MIYAWAKI with a backslide on Joey (a HELL of a spotty sprint that clicked perfectly and got over huge... the Bucks looked absolutely spectacular here) 6.) Scorpio Sky beat Chris Bosh with an Ace Crusher/Dragon Sleeper combo (great to see Bosh back, and he showed no ring-rust whatsoever; lots of great sequences, as their familiarity with each other was evident, and as good a Bosh singles match as I've ever seen; seemed like this was a farewell match and not a return, but that wasn't made explicit) 7.) The Age Of The Fall (Jimmy Jacobs & Tyler Black) beat Roderick Strong & El Generico with a Phoenix Splash on Generico to become the new PWG World Tag Team Champions (a very good tag match, but slightly disappointing, as AOTF aren't over as heels and the booking made this feel a little random) 8.) Chris Hero beat Human Tornado in a Guerrilla Warfare Cage Match, via a Candice LeRae leg-hook back suplex from the top of the cage, to become the new PWG World Champion (a heated, violent insane brawl, and infinitely more insane considering that Tornado's knee was in an immobilizer; Claudio, Necro and Candice all got involved, but unlike Joey and B-Boy two years ago, Hero and Tornado's hate felt like the focus the whole time; the best PWG cage match ever, an emphatic kickoff to Hero's title reign, and a helluva sendoff for the Tornado) The Jay Briscoe bit is weird as hell. Tornado taking a bump from the top of the cage like that sounds insane.
  8. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzUcr7EGe2k...feature=related BEST. SLIDESHOW. EVER. Well, it's not the best one, but the music and some of the faces Jericho makes are hilarious.
  9. Why would D'Lo team up with a man that hit him over the head with a glass of KOOL AID?!
  10. I can't find anything on the net about that... is it yet another Frog Splash take-off? A standing splash.
  11. That's Atlas Debone correct? I hope he doesn't use that Jumbo Jet Splash he used in OVW.
  12. Since that fight was under "prison rules," does that make Noble Kane's bitch?
  13. Wasn't there talk, forever ago, that they were retiring the Cruiserweight Championship in favor of, eventually, creating an X-Division type Title instead? A TV title could be nice, but has WWE ever used time limits?
  14. I'm fairly certain. But I should have known it was too good to be true that no one got kicked out of the house this season.
  15. What a jackass Jesse is.
  16. Did CB tap or did the ref just stop it? I couldn't tell.
  17. I'm looking forward to the feud they'll have in 7 years.
  18. That was a fun match. Striker's neckbreaker and backdrop ddt thing were sweet, and Bourne's SSP is always awesome to watch.
  19. I don't mind that tag teams don't have matching outfits like Roode and Storm, I just want them to work as a team. A double team finisher is good enough for me.
  20. I never really thought about it, but Chris Jericho must have really been studying his Naomichi Marufuji tapes during his time off
  21. Team name: The Freak Show? Also...Tag finishers...they seem kinda optional. Don't think that the Outlaws had a tag finisher, IIRC. Though I do like when they do them. *Favorite is still TOTAL ELIMINATION! The Outlaws used a double team Hotshot and a Spike Piledriver for a while. Bobby Rood trying to mold James Storm in his image and show him the finer ways of life could lead to some hilarious promos and skits.
  22. I don't know much about him, except that he's a Russian guy that works in CMLL and PWG. He uses a Cobra Crossface as a finisher. There is a match of him working a match for the CMLL title.
  23. Maybe I shouldn't have said annoying. Would you think he could be perceived as a threat to the TNA title if he didn't do the Macho Man impersonation?
  24. Would the Black Machismo gimmick annoy people less if Jay Lethal used it as just a nick name and wrestled like Macho Man, instead of acting like Macho Man?
  25. I love Age of the Fall because I hate them so much, if that makes sense. They are the only people that have gotten genuine heel heat in ROH since Jimmy Rave or CM Punk in his feud with Raven.
