I think Hardy will win. Losing to Jeff Hardy will *NOT* make HHH look bad and I think even Hunter knows it. It will do wonders for Jeff though, but HHH also knows that Jeff, no matter what happens, will never ever be a threat to his spot.

Jeff could have won the title against Taker in 2002. Even if just for a few days (losing to Angle on Smackdown). The crowd would have went crazy. If he did that at this point, and I don't think he'd really be able to last more than two months tops in that spot, the crowd would be electric.

I think pretty much any sort of screwjob is expected, no matter who wins. Orton winning is also expected. HBK winning with a rollup and keeping the belt for longer than 24 hours is probably the least of the "expected" finishes. Jericho suddenly returning and winning the title has a more expected chance of happening tonight than HBK winning in any fashion.

It was a nice cap-off to about 8 great months of wrestling storylines.

It should have been the Hardyz and MVP vs. three guys. That way Matt could have been stuck between his brother and his partner bickering. MVP would either have to face one of his teammates at SS or they'd have to stick a random face on a heel team. It wouldn't make sense either way. Or, they could get the tag belts off of them and have them get into actually feuding over the US title.
