I'm debating whether or not the pop Jeff would get if he won would be bigger than Foley's on 1/4/99

If they book their big match correctly with Jeff winning, it would probably be the mark-out moment of the year (and i mean, including everything that could happen betweenthen and 12/31). Ric Flair retiring (if he stays gone) will be pretty good, but Jeff Hardy The WWE Champion could be exactly the kind of thing that might just bring people back to their televisions.

There's a lot about this last two or three months in the WWE that I never ever would have guessed.

I doubt most casual fans would put those two together. And it wasn't like the announcers were gonna drop any of that info into their commentary.

HHH will either get an early number and run out of steam halfway (and will then be jumped by a heel or two that HHH took out before getting eliminated himself) or get a decent number and get screwed by the same heels and/or Vince.

Snitsky's complexion is hovering somewhere between smooth chicken skin and Karen Carpenter. I'm leaning more toward chicken skin, though, because leaning towards Karen would cause her to fall over.

I think it depends on the storyline/wrestlers involved. Highspot wrestlers do better in escape rules only while big brawlers tend to do better in the pinfall/submission matches. Hell, I think cage matches themselves should be escape only just because they have the HIAC for pinfall/submission stips(sure, people get out, but that has not happened lately). And anyway, how often is a cage used as a feud ender anyway? I remember E&C and the Hardys having a nice one back during their big feud when E&C were doing everything they possibly could to get out of wrestling the Hardys. ("Yeah, Genital Warts RULE!")

If he does Lady In the Lake this is the greatest gimmick ever.

Vince, right now, is really reminding me of Spencer Tracy in "It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World", although he was even more like it during the explosion show. This is pretty much the same Vince, but instead of random acts causing his evil, it all stems from the beatdowns last week.
