When it comes to old WWF PPVs, I've seen all of them, without exaggeration, dozens of times. My basis for picking Summerslam '91 is that it was the first PPV I ever ordered and have probably seen that as many times, if not more than any other wrestling show. In other words, I want to see it with a decent picture and not my used and abused VHS from the 1991 taping. On a semi-related note, as hyped as Bret/Owen II is, I found it incredibly lethargic for what the two were capable of. A lot of type devoted to escaping the cage, but little of that was really all that suspenseful. I did love Neidhart clotheslining DBS from behind to knock him OUT of the audienece and over the guardrail.

Although I don't talk to her anymore, I've kept this girl's screen name on my buddy list for the sheer novelty of her bi-polar away messages. Depending on which day you check them, she's either having the time of her life or melting down from the latest crisis of her apparently oh-so-terrible life. She tends to lament the fact that people screw her over all the time, which I think may be an indirect result of her lamenting that people screw her over all the time. The Cubs really should have thrown a position player out there to pitch the last few innings. Marquis hasn't gone more than six in well over a month and with the Cubs' pen having thrown 13 innings in two days, things could get real ugly if Marquis continues that trend.

If you want to sell the dvd, i say wait another week or two because this will still be on everyone's mine maybe even more so than it is now, so people buying the dvds may pay more in another week or so. So, a while back it was distasteful, but now it's okay to start making money off of this incident? Who said it was okay? I'm just saying that I'm one of those guys who doesn't feel he'll be really able to enjoy watching a Benoit match again and that even then, I hadn't watched this DVD in a couple of years.

Anyone who owns the Hard Knocks DVD and doesn't think they'll be able to watch/enjoy it again should be tossing it up on eBay. I'm seeing them go for $40 and higher. I had one in my eBay store listed at $9.95 that went in a snap Monday evening. I've still got my own copy, though. Not sure what I'll do with it. I'm one of the guys who feels he's going to have difficulty enjoying Benoit's matches. That and I haven't watched the DVD at all in two years.

It's a shame the Trib won't just eat Eyre's contract. The Cubs' farm system has produced some good looking arms in the pen this season, yet a guy with an ERA near 7.50 is hogging a roster spot because of his contract.

Never mind! Cubs quickly score three in the ninth with Aramis Ramirez hitting the game-winning two-run shot. Ramirez isn't the kind of guy who would've been looking to do anything but homer in that situation, so I was surprised to see him get a fastball right down the middle on the first pitch. Quite the comeback.

I'd be thrilled with two-of-three. I figured they'd drop at least one against the Brewers' best starters. I haven't been able to watch much of this game, but it seems like one of those affairs where the wind was out of the Cubs' sails before they even batted. It's only a two-run game now, but with Cordero in there, the Cubs will probably need to take the next two.

WM 23 is now gone from mine, too. I don't really mind, since I wasn't going to watch it, but now the Big Ones section is a bit bare. They could at least replace it with something else.

Too bad Milton doesn't pitch. He and Barrett could make for fun TV.

The MSG card was worth watching if for no other reason than hearing the way they officially phased Ax out of the company. I had always wondered about that. By the way, that Barbarian/Bret match has been on no fewer than two Coliseum Video releases. The ref was absolutely terrible in that match, too.

Is it gone or is it just unavailble. I haven't actually tried to watch it, but it's still in my listings. That Hacksaw program's an old Coliseum Video, which I actually wrote a review on, jeez, four years ago already. This MSG card is peculiar. We've got Hogan jobbing via countout in the third match, HTM and Jimmy Hart announcing, BUDDY ROSE WITH HIS BLOW-OUT DIET, and a freaking Tugboat/Boris Zukov match.

Shea Hillenbrand's an idiot. His behavior may get limited attention from mainstream media, but this guy's worse than any other controversial player in baseball today. The guy is playing for a first-place team and demands a trade because he isn't playing every day. Never mind his performance over recent years suggest he's nothing more than a role player now. This guy is a clubhouse cancer made worse by the fact that he doesn't even back up his antics on the field.

Dear Astros, Score a run. Then in turn, do not allow the Brewers to do likewise.
