  3. Raul Ibanez is attracting interest from the Dodgers, Mariners, Mets, Giants and the Brewers.
  4. CRAPTHONSO THORPE!
  5. to the guys watching the Buckeye game John 3:16??
  6. KSU beat Nebraska in 2 straight years in the 50s. But they have never won 3 straight over Nebraska. The series is 71-14-3 now
  7. Touchdown KSU!
  8. and KSU gives up a safety
  9. anybody want to kneel behind the Husker 'Lil Red' while I shove him down?
  10. the Husker fans are leaving early Hahahahaha.. this is just great
  11. it seems the last time Nebraska lost in such a fashion at home was a 41-0 loss to OU in 1955
  12. Moral question: Should KSU go for a huge win here? I think KSU is entitled to blow out Nebraska a few times in revenge for the 70s, 80s and 90s Blow them out in Lincoln!
  13. TOUCHDOWN WILDCATS
  14. TD WILDCATS!
  15. Touchdown Roberson!
  16. Nebraska's endzone would make it hard to see when the Husker kicked the ball so somebody else can catch it
  17. Ell DOWN THE FUCKING BALL DON'T THROW ANOTHER FUCKING INT Hey Snyder.. great call! like that Schwinn QB draw against Marshall
  18. FUCK!! Roberson gets nailed and Nebraska has blatant interference and we get NO penalty. Sorta like the Lord TD "pass"
  19. what's the difference between Fieldturf and Astroturf? Fieldturf has some padding? Why do you need fake grass in Nebraska? BLOCKED FIELD GOAL, KSU BALL! WHOO!
  20. and supposedly the University of Nebraska is finding cures for cancer it's nice to know that Lawrence Phillps got a new job.
  21. God damn Nebraska.. it's satisfying that those morons just screwed themselves, one Husker got an INT and the other hit him and knocked it out by accident and Rheem just blew an EASY field goal. Come on.. ANY FUCKING GRAMATICA WOULD HAVE HIT THAT! It's even worse that they had such a late hit on Roberson knocking him on his bad wrist.. especially with the Husker astroturf.
  22. It appears that Graeme "the Boomerrang" Lloyd was mentioned for a relief job in Colorado. Lloyd's time in KC was ugly.. like the time that he came into the game in the third inning when Appier got hurt. 3 outs, 2 hits, 3 runs, 3 walks, 1 strikeout. It seems the only team he didn't blow against was the Yankees. Then again, maybe he remembered when he was worth a damn as a Yankee. It takes a special kind of pitcher to give up 15 runs in 12 1/3 innings
  23. Paul Abbott and John Halama sign with the Devil Rays Abbott's showing in 2003 with KC as a starter 8/11/03: 4.2 innings - 6 runs, 9 hits, 3 walks, 1 strikeout 8/21/03: 5.2 innings - 3 runs, 3 hits, 4 walks, 4 strikeouts 8/28/03: 6 innings - 1 hit, 4 walks, 6 strikeouts (the game was delayed for a long time due to rain) 9/2/03: 4.1 innings, 1 hit, 2 runs, 6 walks, 5 strikeouts 9/7/03: 7 innings, 5 hits, 3 strikeouts and a win 9/12/03: 6 innings, 9 hits, 3 runs, 3 walks, 3 strikeouts (loss) 9/17/03: 5 innings, 6 hits, 4 runs, 2 walks, 6 strikeouts (loss) 9/22/03: 4 innings, 6 hits, 4 runs, 2 walks, 1 strikeout Anybody care to guess why I disliked Abbott? because he put too many people on base and he didn't last too long (because he threw so many pitches) Plus, he's going to be 36 next year. Goodbye Paul! (I wonder who will sign Graeme Lloyd)
  24. KSU's beaten Nebraska twice since 1998, 29-28 (2000) and 49-13 (2002). The last time KSU beat Nebraska in Nebraska was 1968.
