  1. If you wanna get technical about it.. we canned his ass, he signed with the Devil Rays, they released him, and the Blue Jays signed him on their own
  2. Dan Reichert earned my wrath for.. a) being a POS on the Royals b) blowing an intentional walk against the White Sox in July
  3. The Tigers lose #118 Oh yeah.. Jays fans.. Dan Reichert really sucks. Why did he come in to relieve Halladay?

Grady Little NL Manager of the Year 1. Jack McKeon 2. Felipe Alou 3. Dusty Baker Pena lost my vote by pulling seven guys today in a 0-0 game. Along with all the other dumb moves that he has made this month. I can't vote for him as the best manager of the year and have any right to claim I know much about baseball. Pena is a good motivator, but he is not a good game-manager. Gardenhire, on the other hand, looks like a serial killer and actually succeeded down the stretch.
  5. No matter how much Woody Paige hypes Denver.. if they don't have a decent defense, the Chiefs will lay down 45 points on them. Jake Plummer, if he was so damn good, would have put up more than 88 yards and ZERO points on the pathetic KC defense last year when he played for the Cardinals. Remember that 49-0 score? I see no problem with running up the score on the Broncos if the oppertunity arises
  6. KC all the way
  7. Another blowout for the Chiefs Chiefs 42, Texans 14
  8. Watch for the Chiefs to win in Houston and for the Rams to make it close against the Seahawks
  9. Don't forget the shot of a KSU-OU Big XII title game (unless K-State fucks up some more in the conference) the last time they had the Cats and Sooners in the Big 12 title game, it was also in Kansas City and OU barely won. What about an OU/Miami title game? What if OSU beats OU again?
  10. Numbers for today Sproles 16 rushing attempts for 74 yards Schwinn 19 rushing attempts for 43 yards
  11. I can't believe the last minute of the K-State game Screen pass from Schwinn to Sproles, the ball is on the 5 then, on first down.. A GOD DAMN QB SNEAK??????????????????? What the fuck?? What the fuck?????????? then this sequence.. spike 5 yard penalty spike pass to Sproles incomplete pass End of game WHAT IS SO FUCKING COMPLEX ABOUT THIS FOLLOWING IDEA Once Sproles got you the go-ahead TD (to make it 20-19) and once he got the screen, how about this play HAND THE BALL TO SPROLES AND GET A TOUCHDOWN I cannot believe Marshall beat K-State.. I guess it's proof that beating UMass by 28 wasn't good. Marshall's running game bulldozed K-State because Marshall's line was larger. Ridiculous.. I never want to see Jeff Schwinn out there again. It's offensive to the KSU public to see Suh-diddily-uck out there.
  12. back in 1940, I bet the person he would have given that $10 to was a person I wonder if Castro knows that we're displaying this.
  13. The letter from the Sept. 22nd US News and World Report A copy of the letter is here http://www.archives.gov/exhibit_hall/ameri...als/castro.html So.. if we only gave Fidel some green American, he may have never went off to become a dictator. j/k
  14. My pick - Brandon Manumaleuna
  15. "Kansas State falls about 10 spots because no one with a schedule that weak for non-conference should be allowed in the Top 10." Uh huh.. It's not like K-State's playing powerhouse teams like James Madison, UConn and Central Florida! Sure, K-State's schedule is a bit soft, but you have to think a bit about it. McNeese State - Ranked #1 in I-AA at the time of their game in Manhattan. The #1 I-AA team could kick the asses of alot of the worst I-A teams. McNeese in I-A would be a mid-level team. UMass is also ranked high in I-AA. But, UMass is a replacement for Miami of Ohio since they pulled out of their game with K-State. I think Miami of Ohio is decent, but the fact that they pulled out put K-State in a tough bind by changing their minds and choosing to play Colorado State. Cal has had two close losses, but I think they won 6 games. Lomas, who do you want K-State to play? I figure you're a playmaker and you can get them to come to Manhattan, Kansas. Marshall isn't too bad either. They'll be in a bowl game somehow but they will lose three straight to three good teams (Tennessee, Toledo and K-State) The problem is one of priorities. Big time programs don't want to play K-State. Neither side can agree. The KSU program wants to make money with home games (which presumably helps to not fuck over their other teams) and they don't want to spend money on big road trips without gaining something. K-State's conference schedule makes up for their non-conference schedule. They'll face Missouri, Nebraska (in Lincoln) and Texas (in Austin). The safe bet for the Big 12 title game right now is K-State v. Oklahoma.
  16. I found some of the greatest pics ever I AM MATSUI It appears Hideki Matsui raided Jeff Weaver's wardrobe
  17. So, how brutal will the Chiefs/Texans game get? Chiefs 38 Texans 14
  18. Piece of advice for Bowling Green QB Keeper != Touchdown
  19. My scenario is this.. From the SEC to the Big 12: Arkansas From the Big 12 to Conference USA: Baylor From The Big East to CUSA: Temple From Conference USA to the SEC: Louisville This reactivates the Baylor/TCU rivalry, intensifies the Louisville/UK rivalry and does all sorts of good. Plus, CUSA's alignment would be East: Cincy, Army, USF, ECU, UAB, Temple West: Baylor, TCU, Houston, Tulane, South Miss, Memphis And here's my Top 11 1. OU 2. Miami 3. Michigan 4. USC 5. Ohio State 6. K-State 7. Georgia 8. Virginia Tech 9. Pitt 10. Texas 11. FSU
  20. Scores for the ESPN Bottom 10 teams: San Diego State 17, #1 UTEP 0 (2nd quarter) Colgate 38, #2 Buffalo 15 (F) Ole Miss 59, #3 LA-Monroe 14 (F) #4 Baylor 10, SMU 7 (F) #5 Auburn 45, Vandy 7 (F) Boise State 14, #6 Idaho 10 (4th) Akron 24, #7 Eastern Michigan 17 (F) #8 Tulsa 41, Texas State 15 (F) #9 Temple - off week #10 Indiana 33, Indiana State 3 (F)
  21. Neifi Perez hits a home run, but the Giants lose. You'd think that when Neifi unleashed his power, the Giants would prevail. But not today
  22. Maryland leads Citadel, 44-0, at the half With 13:06 left in the second, SMU leads Baylor by 7 Rice and Duke are tied at 14 Central Michigan beats Eastern Kentucky by a 42-41 score. EKU was up 27-7 in the third. USC wins 61-32
  23. Mack, what's with blowing all your timeouts with 2 minutes left? Anyways.. I'd LOVE to see Arkansas in the Big 12. Without a doubt, they'd kick the asses of most of the Big 12 south. Arkansas already plays like a Big 12 team (lots of runs, not much passing).
  24. Texas had some questionable strategy They just smoked Arkansas when they passed the ball. In fact, it was only the last drive where the Hogs stopped them from passing. Arkansas kicked the shit out of Texas on the ground. 269 yards for Arkansas, 95 from their QB and 83 yards for Texas. Arkansas also scorched the secondary of Texas with the pass, when they were able to catch the ball. 8 for 16 and 139 yards isn't too bad, considering most days for Matt Jones. Turnovers KILLED the Longhorns. Williams fumble led to a TD. Another fumble led to another TD from Cobb. A third fumble in the red zone didn't lead to much, but it was a big fuckup. But, more room for K-State to move upwards. Especially if NC State wins this game! PIG SOIE
  25. WOOOOOOOOOOO PIG SOOOOOOIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! Razorbacks 38, Longhorns 28
