Kurt Angle won his medal in '96 and didn't come in until '99. Dames

I was having a conversation with EQ the other day and also on another board about this subject and figured that I'd throw it out there for you guys to discuss: What saddens me is that the state of the Arcade is probably at its lowest point right now. I'd say that 95% of the games out there have to have some sort of gimmick or gimmicked controls to even be popular. DDR, shooting games, horse racing, driving, etc. It seems as if the consoles have pretty much killed the Arcade market due to their powerful capability. It's seldom that you see people waiting for an arcade game to be ported for the home system now that things like PS2's and XBox's are just as powerful. Mortal Kombat 5, Crazy Taxi 2 & 3 and many other games have skipped the arcade scene altogether and it's just sad to me. Soul Caliber II, Tekken 4 and MvC3 (when it comes out) are the only arcade games I can see having the old school following that games like SF2 & MK used to have. Dames

What bugs me most about Connor is that he's manipulated so easily. I feel like just slapping the shit out of him and telling him to open his damn eyes sometimes. Dames

Personally, I'd rather wail on a guy than choke him out and possibly kill him that way. That's only a last resort for me. It's also a way to contain a guy if don't want him to keep wailing on you, which is why I think wrestlers end up in it. Dames

Your ACTUAL and REAL LIFE SWF Shirts
The Dames replied to Rawknight's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Make that Justice and Rule hoodie black and I'll plop some money down. Put the SWF logo on the back, it'll get people talking. Dames -
Depends...if I like the first show, maybe. Yeah, Mac would like it, definitely. Its like Rounders you say? You know I love that. Damn, I have to get that on DVD. Dames

A toe isn't nearly as bad as a foot being amputated and Kerry Von Erich did well without one. Messiah is doing great things without his thumb. Maybe "24"s Kung Fu Miguel can get into wrestling now. Dames

I don't dislike Dawn at all...but Connor fuckin' bugs me. Dames

But, but......Everyone backstage said it was the match of the night..... Was that with or without Hogan and Vince in the same room? Dames

The same way I got to see Angel and Survivor the week I missed it... Have random strangers send it to me Dames

I'm going to head to 86th today after work to see if they have The Sopranos Box Set, but I'm not very optimistic. It's funny, at the Wiz near me, they have a TON of "The Royal Tenenbaums" and "The Man Who Wasn't There". That definitely isn't going to sell well there either. Dames

You never drive down here anyway. Hmm...you just gave me an idea, thanks. Dames

I also have to take issues with Hogan/Vince and the Austin/Rock star ratings. Hogan and Vince didn't do much besides sloppy brawling, a ladder spot and outside interference. Rock and Austin didn't build off of their previous matches, which they should have, in order to get ****. Dames

Once again, it seems as if you're deflecting all of the blame off of Goldberg and onto Jericho. According to this, Goldberg was unprofessional and was talking shit about him. How do YOU know that Jericho didn't go up to him and try to speak to him calmly about it? You're assuming. These are the facts, according to this story. Goldberg said some things about Jericho. Jericho confronted Goldberg about it. Goldberg attacked Jericho. Jericho defended himself. If you think Jericho confronting Goldberg is worse than Goldberg attacking Jericho, then you've got to seriously work out some issues man. Dames

At least Banky keeps his flammatory comments where they belong, the NHB folder. I've already told Banky to stop flame baiting in Puro. Dames

DH...so what if Jericho went up to him first? Goldberg initiated the physicality of it and did so in a violent, potentially serious manner and Jericho defended himself. It seems as if you're afraid to blame Goldberg at all for this. Dames

Lately, they've gotten a lot better when it comes to keeping their storylines and not dropping them, they've just been dragging them out too long. There are still a few glaring exceptions though: What happened to Vader? What happened to Larry Zbyszko as AJ Styles' mentor? GIVE US SOMETHING! What TNA seriously needs is to give the audience reasons why these people do what they do. Now that Vince Russo is gone, what is the purpose of Sports Entertainment Extreme? Why is Mabel with The Truth? Why is New Jack here? What happened to JJ Dillon? Why should we cheer Jeff Jarrett over D'Lo Brown? Things like that bother me because when there is no explanation, storylines end up with plot holes. Without these reasons, the fans can't latch onto anyone and get behind them. Right now, there is no true #1 babyface in the company. As a matter of fact, if you look at it...there's an abundance of heels. They need to fix that and soon. Dames

I got screwed at The Wiz, as I was waiting for the price drop to get to 50% off to pick up The Sopranos: Season Three but every copy was sold the day before, when it was at 40% off for some reason. So, instead, I bought The Scorpion King, Shallow Hall, Kiss of the Dragon and Mick Foley: Hard Knocks and Cheap Pops, finally. Dames

I HATE CABLEVISION. I don't get FX. Dames

How do you guys know that her name is Jasmine? You've been SPOILERIFFIC~! haven't you? I just got back into Angel with the Faith/Willow crossover and haven't really watched since Connor was born. Just a coincidence, although I can't stand Connor. I can't believe just how dark the show has gotten. The murder of that innocent girl was just disturbing, in combination with the creepy score and slow-motion cam. Dames

Hey....one of my best friends at RPI was expelled last year for stealing computer equipment! Dames

Was Kylie Cammie in the original? I definitely could see her playing that. Good thing I don't remember part 1 well. Dames

Just curious.... Does HHH take the opportunity to badmouth Y2J or Goldberg? The answer is very interesting... Dames

DH, just throwing a scenario out there for you. A guy named Chris is flirting with this girl and it looks like he's going to get her. They're really good friends and it looks like she's diggin' him. Along comes Bill and steals the girl and tells her that he doesn't want her ever talking to Chris again. To keep Bill happy, she abandons Chris, leaving him heartbroken. Chris moves away, hurt and hates Bill for it. Bill moves to his town. Chris sees him and punches him in the fuckin' mouth. Do you blame him? Dames

I think the reason that the prevailent attitude here is pro-Jericho, anti-Goldberg regardless of who started it is because of what happened a few years ago. Goldberg was the #1 reason why Chris Jericho left WCW and went to the WWE to begin with because Goldberg refused to work with him and was an unprofessional as it gets about it. He said that he was too small and too "jokey" to be taken as a serious challenger and that's when Jericho realized that the glass ceiling in WCW was lowering onto his head. Then Jericho comes to the WWE and becomes a victim of it again....only to see Goldberg come in and get a huge push despite doing nothing to deserve it. THIS was 5 years in the making. Dames
