The Dames

It's 10 bucks in Times Square which is where I usually go. In the Bronx, its about 8.75-9.00. I'd rather pay the extra dollar and see it in a nice theater with good surround sound. Dames

Thing is....some of those threads are LONG and there is always the debate on who chooses which threads are worthy, etc. I'd rather discuss it first than just go put it up and get billions of requests for threads to be put up. Dames

I've seen quite a few threads targeted at him....especially one called "Brian Gewirtz". APO takes tons of shots at the guy and so have others, which is what inspired me to write that. Dames

After the debacle that was Raw, I felt that I had to write SOMETHING about it, so I did in the beginning of my latest NWA:TNA review. Sadly, because many of you aren't TNA fans, you probably won't read it. So...I'm asking for your thoughts on the mini rant.... Dames

Dawn, I know exactly what you're talking about. However, the credits come after they redo the ending of part one. That scene did make me jump the first time I saw it too. Dames

Nope...funny story though. About a year ago or so, my girlfriend at the time calls me up and asks me to put it on channel 11 (which is the WB here in NY). She did this often because sometimes she wanted me to see something or tell her where we've seen a certain actor before or what. So, I put it on and she asks me...."What movie is this?" I couldn't tell from the scene, but some guy went into a barn and saw tons of cobwebs. I started to get creeped out. All of a sudden, I saw John Goodman in his little outfit and I went "ARACHNAPHOBIA!!!!WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU WOMAN!!!" I changed the channel as fast as possible! She started DYING of laughter on the phone.....I didn't find it so funny. Dames

No, the DVD version was the same as the TV airing. Basically, you see the exit door blow, Mandy fall out...and you see HEAR the explosion and see the debris behind her, but no plane exploding on camera. Dames

The first season of 24 was delayed because of the WTC attacks. They had to edit out the plane blowing up in the first episode and try and phase out the plane crash for the rest of the show. Kiefer just can't get a break. Dames

I was in Tower Records today after picking up ET at a local Wiz. There was this guy holding the $70 case and I asked him what was on it. He said he was getting it because he wanted the original release not the version he said was "hacked up". I informed him that in came on the 2 discer too. He refused to believe me until he read the packaging on the 2 discer AND had a staff member tell him that. He bought the 70 dollar package anyway. Dames

Has anyone seen the commercial for the new season of 24? Not the teaser, the 30 second commercial with Mason, Kim, a Manuel Noriega type and Palmer as President? The new season looks AWESOME. Dames
