The new footage gives a whole different take on the events and not a postive one. The excutioners were chanting pro-shiite militia slogans at him before he was hung, it makes it look like victors justice by the Shia majority. Its not the thing to help quell violence in Iraq, if anything it almost made Saddam look like the one being wronged.

My brother summed up Live and Let Die better than I ever could "Its like there was a script for a fourth Shaft movie, but they scored out the name John Shaft and replaced it with James Bond"

I think the medias pissed that he actually went out in a somewhat dignified manner, would have been a better story for them if he had broken down on the gallows, probably better for Bush as well.

She really is an extraordinarly beautiful woman. Meant to add in my review of FYEO that this was the first movie in which I thought Moore was getting to be too old. I think the producers probably thought so too, the only proper love scene he got was with the Countess, who was much closer to his age than the other girls, though he did get Melina in the end.

I've found parts of this appeals verdict somewhat disturbing. Not the fact that Saddam will be executed, he was guilty and the sentence was inevitable, but the whole time frame. 30 days and the verdict can apparantley not be overturned?! Your going to get a lot of miscarriges of justice out of this in the future I would think, and of course by the time thats found out the defendants pushing up dasies.

For Your Eyes Only Its been many a year since i've seen this, and after Moonraker I knew this could only be an improvement, if anything it exceeded my expectations. A great soundtrack, great performances and a strong script almost push The Spy Who Loved Me from the top of my list, not quite but very close. Plus that giant Diving suit scared the shit out of me when I was a kid! A strong 8/10

Yeah, the movie finally picked up for me when they got into space, but the stuff before that was dire. The Blaxplotation aspect of LALD is probably the main reason I enjoyed it, I love all that sort of stuff.

Watched more of my Moore movies: The Spy Who Loved Me This will be completly biased, as its probably my favourite movie of the whole series. Its pretty much a remake of You Only Live Twice really, but its far better, better story, better action and the best Bond Girl of them all. The best Bond movie hands down, you can diagree with me all you want, but I don't care, because I know i'm right! 9/10 P.S: Ringo Starrs a bastard! Moonraker So from the highs to the lows, its funny how it only took one movie for such a drop in quality. I hadn't watched this in a long time, so wasn't sure if I would agree with everyones opinion. However the critics were right, its crap! Pretty much crap, not even so bad its good, just bad. Though that final line by Q will always be great. 4/10

I think the ending of Holy Grail is great, a fantastic Python moment. Plus they were leading up to something like that all through the movie so it wasn't exactly out of the blue.

Got the Roger Moore Box Set for Xmas, hes my favourite Bond, so pretty happy with that. Have sat down and watched Live And Let Die and The Man With The Golden Gun so far. !!HERE BE SPOILERS!! (Though you should really know what happens in all the Bond movies by now) Haven't seen LALD in a number of years, and didn't remeber enjoying it that much, after watching it again I thought it was really good. Good villians, decent plot and a good Bond girl in Jane Seymour. Only time it ever dragged for me was the boat chase, which felt like it went on for a bit too long. Baron Samedi was always near the top of my favourite villians, but Tee Hee's also preety good too. Yaphet Koto, was good value as well. I was quite surprised at parts of Roger Moores Bond as well, we all know he can do the wit and sophistication, but he actually came through with a bit of grit at times as well. Check out the scene where he threatens to kill Rosie Carver if she doesn't talk, I honestly believed that Bond was prepared to do it. Saying all that though, it felt like there was some X-factor missing to make to truly great, can't put my finger on it, but something just seems to be missing. A respectable 7.5/10 TMWTGG I quite liked too, it has its problems (Britt Ekland i'm looking at you), but it has good points, Scaramanga the high point. I thought the scene at the kickboxing fight, with him having a casual chat with Bond next to a dead Maud Adams was really well done. I liked the fact that he had no hard feelings against Bond, and would likely have left him alone had Bond not coming searching for Goodnite. I also like the fact he admits hes' no scientist and has no grandiose scheme, he just wants a big payday from the Solar collector. Still the movie dragged at some points, the first opening prologues preety good, but the 15 - 20 mins after that are pretty forgetable. Goodnites' a terrible Bond Girl, the fact that Ekland looks great in a Bikini saves her from being the worst. The scene at the karate school just seems stupid, and theres no reason for JW Pepper to show up. All in all, its a fairly average affair, but not awful. Also I don't know why people dislike the theme, after hearing it again, i'd say its one of my favourite themes from the series. 6/10 I'll review the rest when I sit down to watch them.

Quite a few years ago I was watching some old slasher movie on TV. It was about some old lady who rented out rooms in her house to a bunch of college girls I think. Of course they get picked off one by one by the killer, in the end he turns out to be the old ladys deformed son who lives in the attic of the house. At one point one of the girls is drowned in the swimming pool, or is killed after getting out, something like that. I think the Killer dressed up as a clown, but i'm not too sure about that. I remember at the end, the final girl stabs him and he falls down the steps from the attic, but when she goes to look, the bodys gone. Thats all I can really remember, it was definatly late 70's/early 80's from the quality of the film stock. Not much to go on here, but if anyone can help i'll be very happy, this has been annoying me for years.

I'd go Pornography, Boys Don't Cry and Faith, in that order. Boys Don't Cry gets second purely for Fire In Cairo, my favourite Cure song and in my top five songs ever.

I was watching A View To A Kill the other night, and to be honest I think its a decent enough movie, not the crap everyone makes it out to be. Sure it has its bad moments (Tanya Roberts being snuck up upon by an Airship the worst) but I fairly enjoyed it. I was actually struck with how much Zorins not your typical supervillian, sure he's got the grandiose scheme, but he's much more a total pyscopath than any previous Bond villian, check out casual manner and glee in the scene where he blows up the mine and guns down the miners. I think a better approach to the movie would have been to make it like Never Say Never Again, with Moore playing a past his prime Bond (which he already was really) and having to deal with a man like Zorin who was crazier and more twisted than anyone he had faced before. Maybe have Zorin kill off Tanya Roberts character and really come close to defeating Bond at the end to show the old rules were out the window. They could have put the series to bed for a number of years then done a reboot ala Casino Royale.

I'm listening to Faith right now, and The Funeral Party is still one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard.

I would go from "Boys Don't Cry" to maybe "Japanese Whispers" album wise. Once Robert Smith started cheering up the music took a dip, I think anyway. Pornographys without a doubt their best album, very bleak, but very good.

I remember seeing screenshots for Snatcher in a magazine when I was young, but don't think it ever came out in the UK. Pity, it looked pretty good. Does anyone remember the Buck Rogers RPG for the Genesis, Countdown to Doomsday? It was great, have a version for the PC, but its nowhere near as good.

Think I ended up getting directed here from Wrestleline, like many others, lurked for a long time before posting. One of the first things I remember was that writer, Eric something, saying he was glad some journalist died in 9/11, and getting sacked from Ranstsylvania

Morrison is some sort of 21st Century prophet. I think so anyway, feel free to disagree!

Funny enough, I was having this very conversation with a couple of friends last nite and we all agreed that No Mercy was still the best ever. I always liked the fact if you worked a body part enough and then went for a submission on it, it was usually an instant tap-out. Its the little things like that I feel are missing in most of the newer wrestling games.

I know some people aren't that keen on it, but I loved Paris. Its a really nice city, and I didn't find people as rude as some make out. Just watch out for the street vendors and guys that try to paint your picture, they come on real strong.

You fuckin' starting big lad? I'll have you fuckin' knees done! Saying that in a Northern Irish accent never fails to get you out of trouble in a foreign country!

Come to Belfast, were the friendlist city in Europe! Unless your Black, or Asian, or Arabic, Catholic, Protestant, in fact any minority!
