My guess would be the same guess as anyone would make...copyright differences. Chances are that NJPW owned that music. Same goes with AJPW and Hansen.

Although it isn't the most ideal experience to some of you, Downhome sent me some stuff, and included on there were some Joshi matches. He said there were three, but I've watched two off the first disc: Manami Toyota and Kayo Noumi vs. Kaoru Ito and someone else (matchlist didn't say, she was a small one, though. Help would be appreciated)-This was REALLY solid. Looking back, I can see some really nice things about the match. Toyota was pretty good in this match, and she and Noumi did a sweet Japanese Ocean Cyclone Doomsday Device. The highspot portion was sick, as was Ito's double stomp off the top. I'm gonna have to watch it again to get a full story, but for my first impression, I liked it. 4-2-93-Akira Hokuto vs. Shinobu Kandori-Wow. This was just an absolutely BRUTAL match. The first two minutes was one of the best opening segments in a match I've ever seen, as Hokuto nailed Kandori with a knockout elbow and berated her on the STICK~!, only to see her arm get TORN APART by Kandori's hammerlock armbar. Then, after Kandori reversed that tombstone on the table and Hokuto got SPIKED, she bled like a muthafucka, and right then and there, I saw my love for joshi puroresu just EXPLODE. The mark on the table was sweet. The Hokuto returned the favor, but Kandori didn't tap a gusher, which saddened me, somewhat. They absolutely whooped each other's ass for half an hour, with Kandori trying more of a submission-based attack as opposed to Hokuto, she tried strikes and big moves. Then, the ending, as they hit all their big moves to build up a HUGELY HOT ENDING, and then Hokuto's desperation big elbow knocks Kandori out for the win and the crowd explodes. This match MADE ME a Joshi fan. I await the great joshi I will watch in the future. So do you guys have any suggestions on what I should go after next?

Gedo and Jado had a FANTABULOUS run in 2001-2002 as they played these two absolutely dicktastic southern heel bitches, with Gedo doing these great heel tactics that were so basic, yet so great. How good were they? SK had to RECIND HIS HATE FOR GEDO BEATING BENOIT IN THE J CUP. If you get that cynical bastard to recind some hate, well, there you go. Los Gringos Locos, "Love Machine" Art Barr and Eddie Guerrero, were fucking GREAT heels in Mexico, and their match at "When Worlds Collide" against SANTITO~! (El Hijo del Santo) and Octagon was brilliance to the 3rd fuckin degree.

None of the above, I think, will get a bigger push than Sean O'Haire, and I'll tell you why. The fans WANT this guy to be on their TV screen. They see his promos and he interests the fans. I think that given the correct buildup and the actual push, he'll be a HUGE superstar. But that's just me. Out of that list, I pray to GAWD that Kendrick gets the push to the moon and back.

You know, I'm not limiting this to just the US... How about Gary Albright vs. Toshiaki Kawada? Alrbight, who can't work that well, gets carried SINGLE HANDEDLY BY Kawada through the entire match...

1. The Holy Demon Army-When you talk about some of the great tag teams anywhere at any time, I automatically think of Toshiaki Kawada and Akira Taue, who tagged together in AJPW during the 90s. This team, after being fierce rivals, had such great chemistry that it astounded me. You just watch some of their matches with The Burning and when they faced any of Johnny Ace's teams or the MVC, and you tell me if some of those matches aren't some of the greatest you've ever seen. Match you need to see with this team: 6/9/95 vs. The Burning or 12/6/96 vs. Misawa/Jun Akiyama 2. The Midnight Express-The epitome, in my opinion, of good old fashioned southern heel tag team wrestling. These guys could do it all with any team you can think of. Both versions of the tag team, Eaton and Lane and Eaton and Condrey were just absolutely awesome, although I prefer the Lane/Eaton combination. They're matches with the likes of the Rock N' Roll Express, The Fantastics, and many other teams are absolutely outstanding. MYNTSWTT-Any match against the RnR Express, vs. Fantastics at Clash I 3. The Rock N Roll Express-The ULTIMATE face team, preceding the Hardy Boyz in terms of female love by nearly 20 years. Robert Gibson would be kicking ass, and then here comes Ricky Morton, and he makes a mistake, and he just gets his ass WHOOPED. I remember a match with the RnR Express against the Andersons at Starrcade 84, I believe, and dammit if Ricky Morton didn't make me fear for his life after some of those near tags. Their matches with the Midnight Express are some of the greatest in history. MYNTSWTT-Any match against the Midnights, vs. The Andersons at Starrcade 84 4. The Burning-You got the ace of AJPW in Mitsuharu Misawa, and the Orange Crush, Kenta Kobashi. You got one of the greatest wrestlers in history, and then you have probably the most innovative wrestler in AJPW history, the man who hit these great moves. These two, just like The Holy Demon Army, had awesome chemistry, and you watch their match with the Army on 6/9/95 and you TELL me that they aren't an awesome team in that match. Of course, Kenta crying like a little girl as the Army dismantles his leg is a great thing, too, but that's just me... MYNTSWTT-6/9/95 vs. the Army, 10/15/95 vs. the Army 5. The Steiner Brothers-For 10 years, they dominated. Numerous tag titles, awesome athletic ability, and untapped natural charisma. Rick's power and Scott's explosiveness was just absolutely awe-inspiring sometimes. Scotty hit these great moves, and Rick had one of the best lariats in the business. Some of their matches were just great. MYNTSWTT-vs. Sting/Luger at SuperBrawl I. 6. TenKoji-Say what you will, but this team had the longest reign as IWGP Tag Champs in NJPW history. Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Satoshi Kojima had this strange and beautiful chemistry that led to these matches that were just fun and great to watch. If you need to see what made them a great team, watch every title defense they made and you'll see what I'm talking about. MYNTSWTT-vs. Kawada/Mitsuya Nagai in 2001 7. British Bulldogs-Power and speed, this team had it all. Dynamite was exactly what his name implied and Davey Boy was as tough as the bulldog that his nickname proceeds him by. Watch them drag a great match out of Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine, even though Valentine could work. MYNTSWTT-vs. The Dream Team at WrestleMania II 8. The Miracle Violence Connection-Although they were only together for a brief time, these guys could do no wrong in that ring. They were tough as nails, they could wrestle, they could brawl, they could kill you with their power. I loved watching this team wrestle. They were just fun to watch. MYNTSWTT-vs. Dustin Rhodes and Barry Windham on WCWSN from 1992 9. The Dudley Boyz-They've won the tag titles SEVENTEEN TIMES. OK, so a few were one nighters and such, but regardless, they are still over, they still bring DA PLUNDAH, and putting somebody through a table is still very fun to watch. They have a great charisma together and they could definitely do some great things in that ring. MYNTSWTT-All the TLC matches, the Triangle Ladder Match, Tables Match vs. The Hardyz at RR 2000 10. Harlem Heat-11-time tag team champions in WCW. These guys had great charisma because they were brothers and they could do great things in that ring. Some of their matches weren't that great, but they had some very good matches with the likes of the Steiners and such. MYNTSWTT-Matches vs. The Steiners

Invasion of the Neptune Men-"TAKE ME AWAY, LITTLE PANTS!" Invasion of the Giant Spiders, much?-"You couldn't tell horse crap from rice crispies." Servo: "Snap, Crackle, Poop!" Oh man...Hobgoblin was classic, too. I still love "Pod People." When they record that damn song...holy shit, I cracked up like nobody's business.
