Cooke named off some good matches that really have little or no backstory at all with him. The Kid did so as well. Also, be sure to add the Champions Carnival 95 final with Akira Taue and Misawa. That's a great match as well. Also, see if you can't find Vader beating up Inoki during his farewell tour in 99 (?). Two great matches. Also, if you want to see what the NJ juniors fuss was all about in the mid 90s, you owe it to yourself to see Ohtani/Pegasus (Chris Benoit) vs. Black Tiger (Eddie)/Sasuke from the 94 Junior Tag League. Awesome awesome match.

- Hiroyoshi Tenzan held an urgent interview today in the New Japan HQ fifth floor conference room. Tenzan was clad in a black suit, with a serious expression on his face. Tenzan talked about how by refusing Chono's offer to work the 1/4/03 Tokyo Dome show, Keiji Muto had broken the bond of the "Three Muskateers". Tenzan said that, "It is our time for making a move now", and said he would make an attempt to bring Satoshi Kojima back to New Japan for the January 4th super-show. Tenzan vowed that "Tenkoji" was not finished, and that the team would again cause a stir in the professional wrestling community. Tenzan sent an appeal out to Kojima to reform their now-legendary team, whether in January or any other time in 2003. UPDATE: Chono has given Tenzan complete booking power for his 1/4 match, and he can negotiate with All Japan openly for Kojima to work the show if he wants to. -Credit STRONG STYLE SPIRIT. Wow. Umm...you guys still have permission to keep hopes alive. I'm SO loving this if Kojima comes back to NJ.

I'm just gonna list the ones I have: ECW Hardcore History-For the four ECW comp tapes, easily the best, with Juvi/Rey, The Trinity vs. Sabu/Taz, and the greatest ECW match of all time, 2/3 falls, double dog collar, Raven/Richards vs. Pitbulls. Also comes with the Alfonso/Beulah blood bath, where Bill tapped a FUCKING GUSHER. Half the ring with blood. Steve Austin's Greatest Hits-AWESOME for the people wanting to know about Austin in his early days. Very cool look with him down in the southern feds during the beginning of his career. Triple H: The Game-Not ONLY does it have the RR 2000 match in full...it's Steamer/Flair in the greatest technical NA match of all time. Fucking brilliant for HHH making the smarts get their worth here. Didn't show the 5/21/01 RAW match though. Kinda sucked. ECW Deep Impact: The weakest of the four ECW comps. Only REALLY good matches are Awesome/Credible vs. Lynn/Tanaka and Psicosis/Tajiri, where Tajiri kicks Psicosis' head all the way back to Tijuana. Royal Rumble 2000: Has the greatest Hardcore Brawl in WWE history, and the first tag team tables match, and a good rumble...but stay away from the bikini contest...I beg of you... ECW Barely Legal: First ECW PPV ever, even though it misses the dark matches for commercialization, gets RVD over as a big fish in a small pond, shows that PURORESU IS THE MOTHERFUCKING GREATEST WRESTLING OUT THERE with an MPro 6-man, and of course, Terry Funk winning the title. The Sabu/Taz grudge match is really disappointing, though. ECW Path of Destruction: Only known tape with the 4-way dance for the TV title. The match with the ECW debut of the Jericho Spike (top rop super rana). Also has the BBB/RVD match with Van Dam's two INSANE planchas, the one where his streak began. Oh yeah...and Eddie and Dean have their farewell match, and DEAN SPEAKS. Psicosis and Rey become the first luchadores in ECW in a stunning match for its time. WM X-Seven: Probably the best PPV the WWE has ever made. TLC II, Rocky/Austin, Benoit/Angle, McMahon/McMahon where Shane nails the VAN TERMINATOR to start the InVasion angle in full swing until Lance shows up, and of course, the Gimmick Battle Royal. Eddie also gets a good match out of Test. That's it for me. I really don't got that much in the wake of DVDs, but it sure rocks the body that rocks the party. A little bit of everything.

I would start AFTER his ECW run (final one). I watched my Best of Japan 2001 tapes, and he was AWESOME. I mean, why were people putting him down? Because he beat Benoit in the Super J? Oh well...his 2001 stuff is great. If there is anything earlier...
