  1. Rumble 92. Need I say more.
  2. Excess 69 (of IWS fame) does a Fallaway Moonsault as a finisher, where he holds the guy in a slam on the top rope and moonsaults to the mat.
  3. Something similar happened at Halloween Havoc between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero. Rey runs the ropes for a beta 619, instead of nailing Eddie, he catches him by the head and scissors him to the outside.
  4. I preferred the beta version of that move. Chaz does a Stage Dive (Molly-Go-Round without the flip), quickly followed by the splash, in one fluid motion.
  5. Mankind's piano solo was in fact his exit theme. Wasn't he one of the first to use an exit theme?
  6. Just a cool little opening sequence to start things off quick. Heel swings a clothesline, but Face ducks and grabs a quick headlock. Heel shoves Face into the ropes and quickly hits the mat stomach first. Off the second bounce, Heel does a leg trip with his hand and covers for a lighthing-fast 1 count. Both wrestlers up. Face gets shoved back into the ropes with a slap to the back by Heel. Face ducks under the usual clothesline/back elbow combination. On the third bounce, Heel bends over for a backbody drop, but Face leapfrogs over him, grabs his arm and HE sends Heel running to the ropes. Heel ducks the "two-swing combo", followed by a hiptoss attempt by Face, which Heel blocks. Gutshot by Heel, who places his leg over Face's head and backflips into a free position. Heel fires off a clothesline, which is ducked. Face fires off one of his own, which is also duck and in turn both wrestlers take a run in the ropes and crash into each other with a double clothesline. Both men stagger up to their feet and THEN they get into the lockup position... Tested it out with a fairly able sparring partner and it was pretty sweet.

    Ron Hutchisons' / AWF

While I'm not the foremost expert on the fed, last I've heard, that there's been insurance problems with the venue, in turn Ron Hutchinson isn't holding shows for now. But that was months ago, things could be quite different by now.

    New pics of Sunny

That's not Sunny. Somebody else ate her.
  9. Hart Attack Bomb. (aka Neckbreaker Bomb, found in the Wrestlemania XIX game) Whether intentional or not, Los Guerreros once hit Charlie Haas with what looked to be like a double flapjack, only Haas flipped over as if for a backbody drop; resulting in a "brainbuster flapjack". RVD & Booker T's briefly used Back Suplex/High Crossbody. The old Heat Seeker, used by Harlem Heat or Booker T & any of his previous partners. Partner holds up the victim as if for a Hart Attack, Book runs up and nails a high Ax Kick to the head. La Resistance's once-used neckbreaker/sideslam (on Chris Benoit a few weeks ago). Wanna bet Conway thought up that one? La Resistance's (v1.0) double spinebuster. Early Hardyz' double team spots: Double back elbow; forward roll by Jeff, fistdrop by Matt. Just a cool little sequence. The old "both guys whip the victim to the corner, attacker #1 whips attacker #2, attacker #2 reverses, sends #1 crashing in the victim, #2 follows up with an attack of his own" spot. Has anyone ever given it a name? The Walls of Crossface, originated by the Chrisses. Camel clutch/dropkick to face, used by Kaientai members.

nWo vs WCW Take Over 97

Just one, thankfully. I dunno, but 30 minutes of a crew putting up an nWo set while Rick Rude heckles them is NOT my ideal monday night viewing.
  11. Well, fuck. Guess I should treasure my sig pic.
  12. Rico. I get to grope Ms. Jackie.
  13. 14. This show didn't ONLY feature Daniels VS Steen, so here's some highlights of all matches; plus, a bitchin' chair duel between TSM favorite Crazy Crusher & former partner Nightmare Manson.

Star Trek Prequel Movie In The Works?

They need to appeal to the younger audiences. Star Trek High.
  16. It's Zach Galifianakis. And besides, he's much better in Tru Calling. Craig Kilborn lost my interest the night he made that blazer joke when Owen Hart died. Sinbad should never be allowed near a talk show ever again. I kinda dug Keenan Ivory Wayans while he was on. Hell, his all-chick band was pretty cute. Carson Daly should stay on MTV. In fact; NBC should get Jimmy Fallon, dress HIM as Carson and have him do the show as such. "Hi, I'm Carson Daly and I wear these glasses to look smart." "Hi, I'm Carson Daly and I'm a complete tool."

Who were the kings of overselling?

    - Watch when someone Atomic Drops Rick Rude. He'll stay there and bend over in pain as if a group of inmates had their way with him. - I'd be remiss in not mentionning the ultimate Hennig Killer: the catapult into the ringpost. - Marty Jannetty taking a clothesline. Hell, Keith even created a scale for that in his honor.
  18. Gail Kim debuted on RAW and actually won the Women's title. Why I should remember this more than anything else, I don't know...
  19. Aside from the white-leathered Intercontinental title belt, it don't get no greater than this: Not the prettiest of belts, but damn you knew it was important.

    Random Thought

Then we see it differently. I know every fan at some point pictures himself as a wrestler somehow. I did too, but hell, look at my shape. Never gonna happen. Thus, the striped shirt. I'm trying to say, Tod was my ideal wrestling character. I myself, aspire to be a good referee. Nuance.

    Coolest/Best deathmatch spots

This is actually a backyard tape I saw, but the spot was damn nice in execution. A spider's web tied between two trees, made out of nothing but barbwire.

    Pictures from Revolution 1.0

    English results.
  23. Full results (in french) with pictures can now be found here. No word yet on the tape of the show. I'll work on an english translation for you Anglo readers.
