  1. Yeah it was. And I also remember hearing the rumor that Alanis gave head to Dave Coulier while in a movie theater. Well it was mentioned in the song....I'll never look at Uncle Joey the same.
  2. What the??? "You Oughta Know" was written about Uncle Joey??? Damn!
  3. LaParkaYourCar

    Bon Jovi

I loved the new version of Living on a Prayer.
  4. Ummm.....sorry, but Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Blurricane is being injured at BB&B
  5. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): He's basically Sauron's spokesperson. In the book he comes out and faces Aragorn at the Black Gate and shows him the mithril coat that was taken from Frodo in an attempt to convince him his "spies" are dead. (He thought they were just spies he still didn't know they had the ring) The movie left him out and the whole black gate segment seemed lacking because of it. Aragorn calls out someone to speak with and just the army comes out.
  6. Thanks. I'm liking your new Angel one. I was watching "Triangle" the other evening. Spike talking about the onion blossom rules. I love Superstar's sig, but it's been bugging me....what does it faintly say across the middle of the pic???
  7. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Seeing as how Sam married Rosie in the book I don't think it was just tacked on. Can't anyone admire a close relationship between lifelong friends without considering it gay??? Trust me there were things left out that were in the book that would have been considered even more gay, but they weren't. Back then it was acceptable for men to show a little more emotion towards close friends.
  8. Well... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): It's pretty much official that the Mouth of Sauron and Ghan-buri-Ghan will be in the extended edition because both are listed in the cast
  9. Soul Caliber 2 LOTR: ROTK Metroid Zelda Enter the Matrix WrestleMania XIX Those are the ones I've played that you should get.
  10. Well there will be some Father/Judas stuff then.
  11. From all reports I've heard it doesn't come off as anti-semitic at all. I for one am very anxious to see this movie. EDIT: Oh and I do think it ends with the resurrection.
  12. Right right, it was the demon not a spell. I have to watch the episode again to defend it. In Buffy's brain, her seeing all of the stuff, she was NEVER a vampire slayer. She got put in the institution because she thought she was one. There is no need for continuty when its just Buffy being crazy. No the continuity problem is her real trip to the assylum that she talks about...not the fake one in her head. She says in that episode that she really went to one earlier in her life (before Season 1) when she told her parents she saw a vampire. So when she told her mom she was a slayer in Season 2 her mom should have been "back to the institution with ya!"
  13. The demon that stabbed her caused the halucinations. People were complaining about her talking about being put in an institution before for saying she saw vampires. So why didn't Joyce bring it up when Buffy told her she was a Vampire Slayer in Season 2?
  14. Sweet I love ghost stories
  15. Copy and paste the url and it will.
  16. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The Shire gets overrun while they're out on their quest. The nasty hobbit relatives of Frodo that bought Frodo's old house at first start changing things (rules, scenery), but then when Saruman is defeated he leaves Orthanc and they see him on the road as they're travelling home and he gets pissed off at them. Saruman decides that if he's gonna lose his home then they will too. So he goes to the shire while they're all travelling to other places and he basically takes over and has them uproot the trees and build new buildings kind of like they did around his tower. The Hobbits get back to the Shire and find it this way. All the hobbits that live there are terrified and just go along with it. So our heroes rally them and take back the shire. When they find Saruman he's living in Frodo's old house. The heroes show him that they've rallied the other hobbits and defeated his men. So he goes to leave again and he calls Wormtongue to come with him, but the hobbits say he doesn't have to listen to that old man anymore. Wormtongue starts to listen and Saruman gets pissed, but Wormtongue finally has enough and slits Saruman's throat before trying to run for it, but the hobbits shoot Wormtongue and kill him too. Sam then uses his gift from Galadriel (the soil and seeds from Lothlorien) to regrow trees and plants in the Shire and things flourish again. They tear down the buildings and build back the old hobbit homes. Then Sam gets married and that's where the movie picks up. The "Scouring of the Shire" was foreshadowed early in the book. When Frodo looks in Galadriel's mirror in the book Sam is there too and Sam sees the Shire being ransacked, which tells him that bad things are going to happen there.
  17. I keep getting the "you fucking hotlinker" message too. EDIT: Okay you just copy and paste the url's...I see. Here's one I made It's not that good. Here's another And another I was tired when I made these...so sorry if they suck.
  18. A.I. wasn't wrapping up 12 hours of story and a bunch of characters who all shared the spot of main character pretty much. Honestly...you can't point to one person and say that was the lead character. I just got back from watching it again with some friends and honestly the ending was perfect to me. Honestly I think that without those pauses it would have seemed confusing. Things would have been happening left and right. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): They're stuck on the rock...all of the sudden they're passed out and being rescued...look now they're in beds....and now they're at the coronation....and now they're in the shire....now Sam's married...now Frodo's leaving...look Sam's home. The pauses siginified that a little time has passed and we're moving on to another aspect of the ending.
  19. So IZ is doing a best of on Tuesday while HD is doing an actual show...on Christmas??? Why don't we just do an actual show?
  20. Shit...I haven't even announced my match for the ppv on the shows yet.
  21. A lot of it is on the "WWF Action" DVD that came out in 2001.
  22. Is there a show after next week before the ppv? How many shows until the ppv??
  23. Yeah, same guy. Come to think of it, John Rhys-Davies has been in a lot of projects (James Bond, Indiana Jones, Sliders, LOTR) I like John Rhys-Davies. He's a pretty funny guy.
  24. I also wanna say that Billy Boyd even though he was basically an unknown before LOTR impressed me as Pippin. Especially in the scene where he was singing...that was really his voice right? EDIT: I didn't know that John Rhys-Davies was Treebeard. I knew he was Gimli, but didn't know about Treebeard.
  25. Basically the only thing we can really complain about Arwen is her saving Frodo in the first movie. Everything else was basically in the Apendix at the end of the book anyway.
