Um...Hirohito was to be Kenzo Suzuki, but someone realized how touchy of a subject the name brings up, so it was scrapped as well as the push he would've gotten. I know it was supposed to be him, but I had only heard rumors that they had dropped the name. Oh and someone should remind Jacqueline about Medusa.

I'm inclined to agree with this statement. Considering the Angel and Buffy Universe is the same, it doesn't make sense to have all these major players sitting in LA while Buffy fought a God and then literally prevented the end of the world when they had to go into the Hell Mouth with every single potential they could find and shut it down. If these major players had all these plans in motion for so many years, these Buffy events would be seen as something fucking with their plans and wouldn't have been tolerated. While I'm intrigued by the idea behind this Black Thorne, I don't think it was laid out well enough (with proper reasoning). They've been given to big a role and history for the build they've gotten, not to mention how much their intentions conflict with so many issues both in previous stories in Angel and with events in Buffy. Bottom line; the writers saw they wouldn't get another season and had to throw everything into the pot for a big blow off before it was too late. Angel and Co. were in Pylea when Buffy fought Glory and Buffy told Angel to stay in LA incase the First got past her in Season 7.

I think the thing about this Apocalypse is it's not some immidiate monster trying to end the world. It's the slow decay that's being allowed to happen under their nose. It's basically everything that has happened since the beginning. The Apocalypse is the fact that the Senior Partners are getting or atleast almost got what they want. They tamed Angel and were slowly turning him by putting him in charge of WR&H. This season has been the Apocalypse, because if Angel hadn't wised up the Senior Partners eventually would have got what they wanted...absolute control.

Well in tonight's episode Angel looked at his watch and acted like he had finished quicker than he thought.

I had heard others say that they did, but it's been awhile since I've seen that episode so maybe they got close, but didn't. No wait I know they did, because earlier this season in the episode "Life of the Party" after he had sex with Eve didn't she make a quip about how it wasn't the first time he's had sex under a spell?? Or maybe it was Angel that said it.

In Season 3 in the episode "Waiting in the Wings" while under a spell, but he didn't lose his soul. In Season 4 they brought back Angelus to learn how to beat the Beast, but to remove his soul the spell made him enter an illusion in which Connor started accepting him, he killed the beast, and then had sex with Cordy, which caused him to lose his soul. Really it was the spell creating a false "true happiness" in order to work.

I'm sad they killed off Drogan because he could have easily become my new favorite character. Especially if he had more interactions with Spike.

Technically he never really lost his soul by having sex with Cordy. It was an illusion, but in the illusion it was a combination of his son accepting him, the beast being dead, and having sex with Cordy. With Buffy it wasn't just sex it was basically the cosumation of their love. A moment of passion that had been building for awhile. I don't think he loves Nina the way he loved Buffy and Cordy. She's like a sex buddy or something. Oh and I loved the "We stopped having intercourse" line from Illyria and Spike's reaction to it.

I figured I'd bump this instead of starting a new one, because I meant to post in it back before I left the board for awhile. I've been trying to branch off into different genres I didn't ever give a chance to and came up with some real guilty pleasures. Plus some guilty pleasures from genres I've listened to for awhile: Justin Timberlake (Hey his songs are catchy) DMX (I don't know why, but I like a few of his songs) 3 Doors Down (Yeah I like them. I don't think they're *****, but they're decent pop rock) Maroon 5 (Another decent pop rock group with just that little pinch of funky sound) Staind (Yeah I said it. I went to a concert and I LIKED IT!! I have a similar kind of voice so I can sing along with every song without cracking and that adds a few points in my book) Hoobastank (I didn't like their first album, but everything I've heard off their new one is catchy) 12 Stones (Not sure whatever happened to these guys, but I like every song on their album and that's always a plus) Yeah I even liked a couple of songs off Nickelback's newest album. Not enough to make me a real fan, but I guess since I don't live in Canada I'm not overexposed to them.

If Link is a teen will this pick up after the events of "Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link"? He was 16 in that. Then again a lot of people seem to think that there is more than one Link since the stories don't all match up. I guess since there was more than one Zelda it would make a little sense. After all, according to the Zelda 2 booklet they named all the girls Zelda after the original was put under that spell.

Yeah it did seemed rushed and I hate how they just dropped the whole Pete/Chloe thing after one episode. You don't just have him drop the "love" bomb on her and not go with it.
