My squad from last year has been decimated. Zimmerman, Delgado, Felix Hernandez all gone. Oh well.

Round 4 is now up. Just a note for the future, please, if a round ends, wait for me to post the start of the next round in the other thread before picking. It just helps me keep track of where we are and making sure the order is correct before we proceed. If you know you're up first, your pick isn't going anywhere, anyway.

I was hoping he'd slip through back to me (it was down to him or Markakis as a keeper last season and I chose Nick). Ah well.

Just to let you know, all trades can begin once the draft is done and at least last season (we'll go over all the settings again after the draft), commissioner approval is needed for all trades so it would have to be a somewhat fair pillaging if that makes sense.

Oh shit! I just saw this now. This actually makes trading Rodrigo Lopez a poor move, but who knew in retrospect? They've signed Steve Trachsel as a quick replacement. On the bright side, if there is such a thing, maybe Hayden Penn gets a chance to join the rotation now. Jaret Wright better have a good season though or we're in trouble.

Full draft order is posted earlier in this thread (You'll take over Jack's spot) and every other round we reverse order, so its serpentine style. Not everyone drafts every round though because of keeper picks. Make sense? Any questions just post away.

Midnight tonight? another 2 days (which would make 2 weeks since he last posted around here?) or something else? At that point I will offer his spot to someone on the waiting list (Leena did express interest so I'll ask, and if not go to somebody in the other thread looking to start a new league).

I actually have homework to complete, but nothing like a good baseball exercise to waste my time! See, that's what I'm afraid of. If someone else does take over his team, I don't want them to be screwed in making picks. But, I will go with this idea if people think its more fair (keep Round 1 going, and basically give him until the end of the round to show up and then give away the team before Round 2). Ironically, I'm next to pick, so hopefully this isn't seen as a conflict of interest (heck, wasn't my suggestion!) As for the rest of the order, I will be posting before every round the official draft order for the round. If you want to plan ahead just do what I'm doing which is take the 1 through 20 order that I posted, eliminate anybody with keepers tied to a certain round and remember to reverse the order serpentine style every other round (so even rounds will be 20 to 1).
