I want the match to end on the Epcot Dome. But I doubt THAT will happen.
-
I thought for a minute there they were going to do the "upset despite injury" win for Sabin/Dutt.
-
Course, if the rumors are true...
-
Oh great...I see a 6-Man tag match soon. The full LAX vs. BG, Kip, and Bullet Bob.
-
OK...looks like they got rid of Apolo for someone new. Um...who is this guy? And how do you spell the name?
-
I have a feeling... With Larry saying whoever interferes will be fired. Mr. Raven returns to TNA?
-
Dave Penzer ring announcing makes the show sound a bit better to me, IMO. EDIT: ...holy...Mr. 0-5 in 2006 Jay Lethal gets music?
-
For some sick reason, I'd like to see a cameraman hit when someone tries a suicide dive. Seeing how Aries almost did made me think of that for some reason.
-
Well, Aries and Strong are here, for the people questioning.
-
I always felt that Mitchell and Kane would have been a interesting combo in WWE. Yeah...that would be interesting. *Pictures a Taker/Bearer combo feuding with a Kane/Mitchell combo.
-
James Mitchell seems to have so much fun talking about evil things.

Ah, yet ANOTHER A1 match. He's been busy thus far this year. ...oh, and for anyone that watches XPlosion...I didn't see the archives on TNAWrestling.com updated, did XPlosion this week have any original matches or no?
-
You know, I have to wonder now: We've gotten a collection of the Classic Megaman games... We've gotten a collection of the X Series... We MAY get a collection of the Game Boy Megaman games (Hell, since they're taking forever, toss in Xtreme 1 and 2)... So, next up...a collection of the three Legends games (Legends 1 & 2 and Mis-adventures of Tron Bonne)?
-
Oh great...Larry Z in the booth.
-
...is it me, or is Spike running a bit late?
-
Well, for the most part the only idea I had was that King wanted to help the rookie out, showing him that things won't always be easy in SWF. ...though I didn't think I really squashed him. =\ At any rate, at the very least I have a backup partner (I hope) should Maddix decide to vacate his half of the tag belts.
-
Oh please, no WAY the one that you wend to is the Worst Thunder Ever. Unless you went to the one where David Arquette won the World Title, then you can't have that claim. Fortunately for me, I never went to a late WCW event. ...unfortunately for me, I never went to ANY WCW event. Stupid non-liking wrestling Parents.

All this talk you people have about matches to take the titles...to you all I say this. PAH! Somehow, someway...I'll find a way to keep the Tag Title belt. And, depending on whether I bring the SWF Women's Title out of mothballs or not, I will keep gold for a good while.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

They'd get sued by the Monster Truck people. Unless they cut a deal with them or something. -
***SWF TITLE HISTORIES- THE UPDATE***
ChrisMWaters replied to King Cucaracha's topic in Brandon Truitt
You know... If I knew all the female SWF roster members (and if any of them are heels), I'd almost be tempted to have Kelly bring the SWF Women's Championship back out of mothballs. *Ponders if I should or not* -
"Yeah, he's THAT important!" ...sorry, had to use that commercial tag-line.

Chris: I'm sure you could write like a dozen columns on excellent Adventure games, since I know you're a huge fan of the genre. Eh, not really. If we're just counting the point and click adventure games...the only ones I've played are the Monkey Island Quadlogy and The Neverhood. ...I have Grim Fandango but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet.
-
I don't know how unknown it is around here, but... "The Neverhood". For me, a great fun point and click game. Plus how can you go wrong with an almost all-clay looking world.

The Rose Garden in Portland is pretty empty now that a few hours had passed by since Lockdown. Everyone was quickly moving out, getting ready for the next show in the next town. Everyone, except for Kelly Connelly and her man, "The Icon" Max King. The latter was sitting back in a chair, tying up his shoes and looking nice in a relaxed (yet expensive looking) suit. The latter was wearing a matching female version of the outfit, standing in the foreground, looking to the camera. "Glad I caught one of you guys before we packed up for the evening." Kelly begins, a cute smile on her face as she said that. "Now, I know a lot of you are probably wondering, why did Max go so...well...almost evil out there tonight in his match against Laberinto. Let me just reassure everyone: this isn't a sign of things to come, nor is King's new Championship Partner corrupting him." "Kinda hard to be corrupted by him when we haven't talked much outside of our matches." King says pretty quickly. "Er, right." Kelly chuckles at that. "No, you see...going out there, Max King saw something in Laberinto...something that is rare to find in a competitor here in SWF: potential for greatness." King now stands up, and begins to pace a bit, hoisting his tag team title belt over his shoulder. "You see, in Laberinto, I see a competitor that has the chance to become a breakout star. Someone who could help SWF in the future, and be someone to get behind." He says, almost having a sense of pride in his voice as he says this. "However, the life of an SWF competitor is a rough one, and there's always going to be at least one person out there that is willing to do whatever it takes to end his career to boost their career. That's why I felt the need to go out there like I did tonight...I needed to give him a taste of what some of the other...less than savory people around here would do. I just hope that he TRULY understood my gesture." "Don't worry about it, Max." Kelly says with a reassuring smile. "I'm sure that he will understand...even if he didn't understand the actual words you said out there." "Well, I guess you're right. We'll find out if he ever tries to attack me backstage or in the parking lot or something like that." Max says with a smile. "I guess that's the case." Kelly says with a soft smile. "Anyway...now there's another matter that has come up and needs to be addressed by us: the upcoming Lethal Lottery tournament. Interesting idea to give the Tag Team Title scene an injection of talent that it needed. It will also give my man and his...estranged tag team partner a good challenge in the near future." Max nods softly. "That's right...so in honor of this, I have a message I need to give my tag team partner." He says, looking very serious as he approaches the camera. "What are you plans in all of this, Maddix? Do you want to remain a Tag Team Champion?" King brushes his hair back with a hand. "You see, despite all that we've been through over the past year or so...despite the fact that at times you can be an arrogant ass who doesn't know when the hell to shut up...I'm willing to put our past behind us. Are YOU willing, Ladond Maddix, to do the same for the sake of the SWF Tag Team Titles. Because, while some people will hate to admit it, we make a pretty good team. But if you're not willing, then that teamwork that we had together will crumble and these titles will fall into another makeshift team's hands." Kelly looks closer to the camera. "What we're basically saying Maddix is: are you for the cause of keeping gold..." "...or are you against it?" King finishes, and gets cut off as Kelly flicks the switch on the camera to turn it off.

You know...looking back at the show... I can't believe dummy me won when I forgot to check to see the commentating team wasn't Longdogger Pete this time. Um...just replace all mentions of "Pete" with "Ben" when reading my match, OK?
