I think right now they're in OVW.
-
Well, to be fair... How good of a name, when you take out the prestige of the event and such, is WrestleMania anyway?
-
Any chance we can get some Funeral Parlor segments in there as well? ...like when he stuffed Warrior in the casket?
-
I thought similar...but said Final Fantasy. "It's Final Fantasy XXXVIII staring "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters!"
-
They probably just did that to set up a PPV match between the two.
-
Difference is though I think Rey is more over than Tajiri was. Plus, Eddie and Rey seem more close than Eddie and Tajiri were...even if Tajiri started the whole Lowrider thing for Eddie.

Here's something I remembered. Why was the Blonde Bitch Project thing with Meanie and Richards dropped so quickly?

Wrestling Moves you busted out In Real Fights

During High School wrestling I busted out the Cranium Crush a few times. -
... Not that much love for Perfect's theme from what I saw.

All you people complaining about the smaller shield... Are you forgetting how small the Superman shield was when Superman was first created. http://www.supermanhomepage.com I'm sure you can find images of what I mean in here.
-
This would be after the ring is set up, and the officials move on to the entryway and such.
-
I had both Mr. Perfect and Brutus Beefcake's themes stuck in my head at one time or another.

My theory is that, when there's a Hardcore style match set up, ring techs are told to put extra items under the ring before the show. Here's another question...how is it that wrestlers know EXACTLY when to come out from under the ring? but a KAYAK?! Not even Vince McMahon would say "hey, guys, when you are putting that ring up, throw a kayak under there, I want to see the look on Raven's face! Can't put THAT in a shopping cart MOTHERFUCKER!" Sadly, actually, I CAN see Vince saying that. Plus, there's also the theory that wrestlers in Hardcore matches, before the show, put those things under the ring themselves. Think Al Snow's bowling ball.

Wrestlers You Thought Would Never Turn Face/Heel

How about Regal? -
The people's elbow got the pin a lot. Rock's title win over HHH at Backlash 2000, his win over Hogan at WM18. The question I've always asked is "How the hell does the people's elbow get the pin when it's a fucking elbowdrop?" Because it is his special move, and he's perfected it so much that he knows the exact angle and velocity to use when delivering it, thus creating maximum impact good enough to secure a pinfall. Maybe it just looks like a plain old elbow drop to your untrained eye, but The Rock has that fucker PERFECTED for maximum effectiveness. Actually, that's not it at all. What you forget, since Rock's been gone so long, is that he had super powers. He was pretty much unpinnable and undefeatable. At WM XVII, Austin had to beat him up with a chair for about a half an hour to actually get a pinfall. The Rock was so magical that he could pin the soon-to-be Undisputed Champion with a DDT. And, as was proven at WM XVIII, Rock's super-powers were so strong, they could actually overcome Hogan's superpowers, allowing him to be invulnerable to the legdrop of doom. ...what is this, Dragonball Z all of a sudden? ...though, someone pretending to have that kind of power in wrestling would be a great comedy gimmick. Especially if he tried the hairstyle as well.

Kayfabe Explainations For Unexplained Things

^ IIRC from a Taker magazine WWF released in late 94...didn't that lead to the following exchange (not word for word) <Roberts>Whose side are you on? <Undertaker>...not yours. -
Nice to see Raw put over Smackdown. Ah, but if you note, Smackdown is in the foreground, while Raw is in the background. The foreground being in front of the WrestleMania 21 logo, the background being behind the logo. Makes sense since Smackdown dominated Raw on the show (Booker in the Battle Royal, Angle and Taker over HBK and Orton respectively)

For the Trash Cans under the ring...I figure it's for after the show, when they have to clean up the arena. For the fans that leave their trash on the floor. IIRC...recently Eugene won the tag team titles using the People's Elbow.

My guess is yes on that. But then again, it's late where I am, and I may need sleep to think better. -

The fire did happen. It's just that the burns were superficial...as mentioned by Kane in the JR interview. My theory is that Paul Bearer made Kane think he was more burned than he actually was. -
WrestleMania 1, yes he sucked (even Lucious Johnny Valiant commented on that as he was going to the ring) Mania 2 he was better. Maybe it was because Elvira promised him something after the show.

Maybe, but a staircase of tables is harder to knock over than a ladder is.
