I would say, yes, he did. And he's kept it secret for all this time? That wouldn't make much sense. He's kept it a secret because he doesn't want the person who attacked him to know that he knows and remembers. That way, when the time is right, Edge can surprise that person by retalliating. ...just my theory.

I really hated it when Rock would be on the turnbuckle to hold up the belt and it would be backwards. In other words instead of him showing off the gold he would be showing off that leather strap behind it. That always pissed me off. Yeah, that does suck. Also...what about when a wrestler wears a title belt upside-down on his waist? It's rare, but it's happend. Regal at WMX8, for example, with the IC title.

I just didn't like the fact it was two belts representing one title. THat just seemed wonky to me. I could see him carrying around the new version of the WWF title, as well as the big gold belt and previous version, saying something along the lines of "These are my property now, so i can carry them if I damn well please." Plus, it lead to Trips carrying both for a while.

Also, no comment about the around the neck or on the bicep holding of the belt?

Austin I can understand it for. It's part of his character. Rock I have no idea why he did that though.

Thanks Liger...couldn't find that picture. That was a neat moment in history, indeed. Although...what would be really neat for just comedic relief would be seeing Liz trying to wear the belt around her waist.

OK...most people agree with me about the wearing the belt around the waist. But what if you're too large to wear it around your waist...and don't feel like buying extensions for it like Bertha Faye did as Women's Champion?

Heh, again, sorry. The evil spirits are possessing me. Probably from playing as Wario and Waluigi in "Mario Kart: Double Dash"

I thougth that was Austin's way...

Sad thing is, I think we're quickly coming up on Linda McMahon: Women's Champion in the near future. She's the only one who HASN'T won a title out of the 5 titles that the McMahon family has (I'm counting Royal Rumble victor in there too)

Sorry, I'll stop, I'll stop.

So you'd boo Yokozuna then since he didn't wear the belt around his waist?

That was only a few times though. Before that, he wore around the waist, IIRC. Oh, another cool way to hold the title. I'll just let the picture speak for it:

Ah, the power of McMahon works it's magic again. ^^ One more time...but with extras!

Just making sure...by the trunks you mean like he had before Summerslam this past year, right?

Yeah...I forgot about that mention. A variation on 1: Around waist, but hidden until the last moment by a robe or jacket (see Flair, Ric or, unfortunately, below picture)

OK...this is spawned from the "This Day In History" thread about Jericho's Undisputed Title win 2 years ago. What's your favorite way of a title belt being carried by someone? There's a few: 1) Around the waist 2) Over the shoulder (very often used by people to large for the belt around the waist) 3) Dragged behind (see Austin, Steve) 4) Switch between drag and over shoulder (See Rock, The) 5) Carried by manager (see Hearst Helmsley, Hunter, DX days) 6) Worn around neck (see Dudley, Bubba Ray or Undertaker, The) 7) Worn around bicep (she Show, Big: Hardcore Title)

Pardon my ignorance, but what's Contact High mean? Someone smokes weed around you and from the smell you get a buzz. Ah, I see. Do you get that feeling when watching Rob Van Dam too?

Heh...that's a neat picture there. I'd do similar if I was in wrestling and allowed to hold more than one title at once.

Yeah, well...I was just starting watching wrestling at the time. My first event that happened when I started watching was KOTR 94. So, I was still very markish. ...and a fan of Men On A Mission.

One picture to dispute that...

Well, he had just turned heel at the time, IIRC. They wanted to establish that "yes, Jericho is a heel. Deal with it"

Pardon my ignorance, but what's Contact High mean?

For some reason, I see Holly costing Lesnar the WWE title. Don't know why, I just feel that's what's going to happen. ...then again, I also predicted Bob Backlund to win the 1995 Royal Rumble.

I always thought the same thing. They would rather have him carry around two belts until they scrapped one, only to bring it back and GIVE it to Trips Very true. I would have also had liked for him at least ONCE wear the belts like X-Pac here is wearing the Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight belts...
