  1. It was in between May-June 1991. It was early July 1991, before the GAB - not WrestleWar (which was in February and had its own WarGames).
  2. Pre Match: Kidman, Rey, Molly, Okerlund (? ... haven't seen it yet) Post Match: Cena, RVD & Booker, Foley, Show, Christian, Chavos Jr. & Sr., Superstar (talks about the HOF), Molly, and a montage of post-show comments from fans as the arena was emptying out (and I was getting on the subway). TV Promos: WrestleMania XX (the one ending with Vince) Triple Threat Brock vs. Goldberg Kane vs. Taker Eddie vs. Angle Rock & Sock vs. Evolution
  3. I watched the match earlier and I'm pretty sure it was cut out. Also, for whatever reason, Stacy's theme song is some generic music and not Kid Rock. Not that I care one way or the other, just mentioning it. Watched the Mania Behind Wrestlemania. I missed the original airing due to some stupid basketball on UPN. Great stuff. And HartFan, all the original music is still in. They even have deleted segments focusing on Triple H / Booker, Hogan / Vince, and a behind-the-scenes of Jesse narrating.
  4. Picked it up at FYE this morning (and I recommend everyone else try there too ... on sale for $25 plus an $8 mail-in rebate ... so the original price of $35 is slashed to $17). Watched some of the Disc 2 extras - post / pre match interviews, press conference at Planet Hollywood, the history of Rock & Sock, Eddie on Byte This, the TV promos, etc. Also checked out the main event. Haven't had time to look through much else. Being that I was there for the show obviously it holds more meaning than had I watched the PPV ... but I thought it was a solid effort all-around.
  5. I don't remember that but I do remember Bigelow jumping Tatanka backstage and cutting off some of his hair. That's what REALLY started things up. Luna didn't show up with Bam Bam until KOTR 93, IIRC. And Tatanka / Bam Bam started a few weeks prior to that.
  6. And the WCW US tag straps.
  7. And if you go back to 1997, IC and Tag Team.
  8. It aired the day before the KOTR, 6-12-93.
  9. Starrcade 87; Barely Legal 97
  10. My advice for anyone who's looking to start a website: - Hit Lords of Pain; they still have plenty of detailed (and you want detail) WCW house shows, TV, and PPV - Make friends with people who own large tape collections - Get your hands on some old magazines with results (PWI, etc) - Try the Kayfabe Memories Message Board and see if anyone is handing out scraps of info - Try RSPW; lots of message board postings dating back to 1990 that have been a lot of help to me It won't be much to start with but give it time.
  11. Nope. There are lots of people out there with several years' worth of NWA results but they're not sharing.
  12. Actually, that IS Graham Cawthon. Bobby, don't fuck with me or I'll lick your face like a retard.
  13. I think college, my current website, and whatever social life I have stand in the way of that. Of course if you pay me ...
  14. WCW didn't have a Wargames on free TV in 91, that I'm aware of. They did, however, hold a NUMBER of Wargames matches at house shows throughout the late 80s until about 1991 (one being July 91 at the Meadowlands, IIRC). There was also one right before Starrcade 87 in which Ron Garvin was on the team opposing the Horsemen.
  15. He was born in Montreal.
  16. Is there anything you don't know? Damn cawthon!!!!! Oh, there's a lot I don't know ... but I make up for it with personality.
  17. A 450 splash is what 2 Cold Scorpio and Juvi used to use in WCW (feel free to correct me).
  18. Give it time. From what I understand, they don't exactly have the best of relationships. Last I heard, he wasn't even speaking to her. Vince was on Howard Stern a few years ago and implied he suffered sexual abuse as a child. I still have the audio file somewhere.
  19. His poor use of grammar should be reason enough.
  20. If it was from Wheeling, Virgil would have still had the Million $ belt ... so there's a clue.
  21. Snuka hit a 450 splash? ... Nuh uh.
  22. Agreed. They signed Mark Henry to a 10-year deal. They've been pushing Rey Jr. since his TV debut. They rehired Eddie, despite his past, and pushed him from the tag team to the US all the way to the world title within a year. Jonathan Coachman going over legit talent and being the most visible "interviewer" on TV. If you're saying the WWE is "racist" for stereotypes - news flash: pro wrestling was built upon stereotypes. That's how they drew money. If you're going to blame the WWE for this then the same should be said of just about every other North American promotion. For all Vince cares you could be technocolor. If he thinks you can draw money, you'll get pushed.
  23. WWF @ Ft. Pierce, FL - St. Lucie County Civic Center - October 28, 1993 Mr. Perfect pinned Diesel with the Perfect Plex
  24. Michaels = heel turn, Batista = face turn? or Benjamin = heel turn, Orton = face turn? I'll go with the first one. God knows we need to see Batista in the main event picture as a face How is this even a topic of conversation? I'm shocked that Meltzer would even acknowledge it as "news" since arena websites make these kind of mistakes ALL THE TIME. No turns. Big typo. Move on.
