If Scots thinks I'm bitter, fine... Anyway, about Goldust and his lack of merchandise... see, nowhere did the column say he does GOOD sales. It said he's sold more merchandise than Albert has made money... that could mean one $25 shirt. RVD has his own website... if he wanted to bitch and complain, he could have (and should have) done it there. Management might have said "what the hell?" but he wouldn't be breaching his contract (and he could have been a bit more vague as well).

Since they never released a Best of Raw 3 DVD (or a Vol. 4 at all), you get the impression "Action!" was supposed to start a new "1/2 Year in Review" series of DVDs (Coach's segments make me think that anyway). However, I don't think it sold well and no big push was made behind selling it to begin with.

RVD having the opportunity to do 20 minute spot fest matches in the X-Division sounds HUGE on paper.... but he didn't exactly put enough money in ECW's bank to make them not die. However, you could argue that a lot of the casual fans who just found out about him from WWE would carry over to TNA if he was ever released and went there.

Ok... so I either have a defective copy or the Canadian release is fucked. Oh well. Vengeance (2001) also works like shit on my PS2 but seems to be mostly OK on my friends Xbox (only tried the one match it screws up on on the Xbox). I got a replacement copy and it still doesn't work right... maybe my DVD drive is going on my PS2.

If anyone should be hostile, it's me. When I was a Smarks rookie, he put down my column and made sure to point out I was a "low point in the history of the Smarks".. way to elevate new writers. But I'm not. I know it's his "thing" to be a jackass, so I let it go. I personally just think there is no way to prove who it is because the guy who sent the columns to Scherer most likely did not sign a real name.

Ok, I've had this DVD for over a year and a 1/2 so I don't knwo why I'm just asking now, but does anybody else (specifically in Canada) need to wait several (and I mean several) minutes for the damn thing to load? I don't know if it's the DVD in general, the Koch Canadian release, the fact I'm playing it on a PS2, or I just have a defective copy, but it just takes so long to load. Anyone else?

I just assumed everyone was excited because 4/20 is Easter. The show has been airing for many many weeks now on Teletoon in Canada so there!

WWE also reads WrestlingDB.com according to the traffic log the webmaster tells IRC about. Anyway, unless I'm missing something here, it seems William wasn't exactly telling Scherer who he was to begin with. So, while I have nothing against the man who was ever so helpful in putting down my columns on TheSmarks, I can't see how Scotsman hacking into Scherer's mail and finding anonymous e-mails with no signed name on them leads to RVD. But maybe I'm in denial over the whole thing. Ever since the random yelling of FART! I've been convinced it's Goldust, living his gimmick in his own writing. The fact he said on Stern he WOULD be in Booker's corner and wasn't gives him valid reason to think he'd be on the show when he wasn't, and, in character or not, it didn't sound like he had kind things to say about Sable or Piper on Byte This... and what do you know, neither did Willie the Worker.

Maybe it's the outdoor atmosphere (which was awesome), maybe it's the fact it was the first Mania I could watch in the comfort of my own home, and maybe it was the fact I had only been watching wrestling for less than 2 years and my cousin and I thought Hogan ruled, but I liked the show. Match wise, Gonzalez vs Undertaker is god awful, but it's not like I have to watch the match thanks to revolutionary technology such as fast forwarding. I really enjoy Tatanka vs Michaels and Steiners vs Headshrinkers, it's Bobby Hennan's last WrestleMania, and there are TWO DOINKS. Overall, I enjoy WMIX a lot more than WM2, my personal least favourite.

yeah! Although to be fair, I don't even know what titles exist in the Puro world, let alone who holds them... but that's the beauty, I don't know because I don't follow, and therefore am not ever in that section. Likewise, I would imagine 99% of the peple in the WWE folder know who is what, same for TNA, same for etc.

I still think the best HHH quote is on the DVD of his where he says that the so called Smart Marks (I assume he means this board) think they hate Stephanie, but we're being fooled by here annoying TV persona.

For whatever reason, I watched the HHH tape from 1999, "It's Our Time" last night. Anyway, at one point, Chyna said the following (paraphrased): "[Trips] is always doing what's asked of him to the point where I have to tell him to stand up for himself and say no once and awhile and do what's best for him".

In all this talk about Piper and Hogan, everyone seems to forget that the spoilers mention they did an angle on SmackDown where Hogan can go away until they can bring him back for another return pop (let's say the first SmackDown only PPV, Vengeance). Yes, I know in wrestling, firings / suspensions / retirements mean nothing, but this is a guy who has no actual contract and appeared to be wearing some sort of special tights with a supporter just so he could stand up properly at Mania.... Or maybe Hogan will just go to Raw since he wants to work matches with Goldberg, Austin, and Michaels.

I don't know why anyone thought Austin would be on SmackDown. Before Raw, there was lots of talk about Austin needing a hiatus from wrestling, and being "fired" seems to be that hiatus.

1wrestling says it might be a 6 man match between Jericho/Flair/HHH and Diesel/Shawn/Booker (nWo 2K2 Version 3 reunion!). It's upsetting Booker might not be getting a title win rematch, and I'm not sure if Nash and HHH being in the same ring is a good idea, but I was a mark for Two Dudes with Attitude back in the day and the prospect of Flair, Michaels, Jericho, and Booker in the same match is good... so hopefully this match works out.

The Velocity spoilers are confusing. 411 (from Rajah) seems to actually have last week's spoilers while Observer has a totally different match list. Since the last match for Velocity on the WO spoilers is a FBI squash, I'm leaning towards Matt vs Funaki being the main event, not a dark match... but who knows.

I'm just having fun giving people shitty gimmicks and imagining them as happening... Gay Triple H, Gay Scott Steiner, Hillbilly Nathan Jones.... It was also fun to do an on screen firing for an angle then fire Steiner and Jones for real. As for an earlier post about my error, I deleted EWR 2.0 before installing 3.0, so that's very odd. I still have some images from 1.4 though (I threw them in the GRFX folder, remembering how 2.0 crashes anytime I tried to view Wrestling-Heat without being able to load Picture of the Day). The 5th website is pretty cool.... the Scott Keith "postbag" is funny. I'm starting to get worried about my EWR sessions... back when I was playing EWR 2.0, Angle suffered a neck injury and was scheduled to be out several months. Well, yesterday I hired a certain person.... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): and now Sable is actually back . Weird. I wonder if my hiring of Marty Jannetty will bring me luck in that department.
