  1. Thanks, I had a feeling that not many would have seen it, but I still that since it was so famous that I had to give it a shot. The site helped a little though, so thanks again for that. If anyone else has any information on the subject, please share. I'm off to study for my chem test tomorrow, but I'm leaving this thread open. If you don't help...*Shakes fist*
  2. I..er...umm....HELP ME~! To be honest, I rarely touch homework outside of assignments and ISUs, yet I still manage an average that is somewhat respectable. It's just that I didn't watch this movie, so I couldn't do this particular assigment. Never mind why...
  3. Nice to see that they worry about some of the other important stuff in life too...
  4. I have an assignment for this movie due tomorrow(which is already late), and I needed some help as I didn't watch the movie. I answered some, but not the rest because I couldn't BS through those. Here are ones that I wish someone could at least offer some help with: - What is meant by the statement "With tradition, a man is like a Fiddler On The Roof". How's tradition important in Jewish Life? - What does Teyve say the relationship between the Jews and Christians is like in the town of Anatevka? - Is Teyve a religious person? how does he demonstrate his faith in God in light of the problems he faces? What is God like in Teyve's worldview? - Identify at least four examples of breaks with tradition in the film. If possible, relate to an unfortunate event in the life of Teyve's community. - Name three specific incidences of anti-semitism in this film. How does Teyve react to anti-semitism that he faces? How are his reactions related to his religious beliefs? I know that's alot, and that they are very specific, but odds are that some of you have seen it, and even a quick answer would at least get me started, as I could BS around the truth. On the upside, at least this thread is more practical than that Love, Sex, and Dating crap. No offense intended of course...
  5. I actually heard from Paul Bearer on a recent edition of the LAW, that Hogan wasn't actually injured, but he took an ambulance anyway, saying Undertaker didn't give him the Tombstone properly, thus injuring his neck in the process. This would be an obvious political move. I don't whether it's true, but Percy hesitated in admitting it, as he is one of Hogan's friends, so it would be odd for him to lie about it. Still, Hogan got the title back in two days, and Undertaker didn't for about 5 1/2 years. Draw your own conclusions... Dave actually gave that Nasties match ***1/2, allowing me to feel that he isn't as reputable a wrestling critic as he is a groundbreaking journalist. I'm surprised more people talked about one of the worst PPVs ever, as opposed to the stellar I Quit match. Than again, I did too, so feh...
  6. I remember hearing about these guys, than reading up on pretty much most of their stuff. I too would like to know what happened to them, as they were pretty fond of one of my favourite wrestlers, Dean "Babyface" Malenko.
  7. I don't understand what's wrong with most people these days. Everytime someone who is retired has something negative to say about the business, your excuse is that they're bitter. So if living it, thereby understanding it, and than justly criticizing it makes him bitter, than what does that make a large amount of posters on the board? Many of whom like to bitch about ANYTHING, and than not back it up with fact. If you're going to criticize someone else for validly backing up their opinion, and having some insight due to their past accomplishments, than go ahead and be an ignorant fuck. Like for real, don't talk through your ass, because it all sounds like shit to me.
  8. I liked it a lot when Philly got the shit kicked out of him on South Park. That's about the only time when I could stand him really...
  9. Premchanth(sp? Fuck I don't even know how to spell it). Never use it, name based on culture, as my first name is just a good ole' Christian name, Daniel... Btw, I just noticed from Nevermortal's sig that Lemmiwinks truly is the GERBIL KING~!
  10. You're both right, Dirt is *definitely* the best album, as their other good ones were mainly more mellow, not that there's anything wrong with that. I always liked Down In A Hole the most, and am I the only one who thinks that this would make a kickass entrance theme?
  11. ...or the kid's causing him so much trouble that he has no time to post on the comp.
  12. Is This Woman's Work by Kate Bush a chick song? If so, that's my pick. Or maybe even Angel by Sarah Maclachlan or whatever..
  13. Beastie Boys - Sabotage is a personal favourite. Another unspeakably cool one is Radiohead - Just
  14. Where is the game between GB-TB? If it's in Green Bay, we know who has that one in the bag already.. I hate the Dolphins with a passion, and I was *extremely* pissed off to see the Bills lose unjustly, while they won with ease. *Sigh*, the Bills are the most enigmatic team in the league this year, and THAT's saying something...
  15. Dream Theatre - Images and Words I don't how many Dream Theatre fans there are on here, but I found this to be a great album, although a little too weird. Can't really explain why, but it has something to do with New Age hippie crap/the keyboarding which really gets on my nerves as it's the central focus more often than not. Either way, great album, and if you play the drums or the guitar, you should most definitely pick this one up. Some songs are a little pussyish in nature, but Petrucci and portnoy more than make up for it. I know I spent a lot of this space expressing some of it's weaknesses, but I just don't want you to be disappointed. So just read this; it's great, go get it now.
  16. It's a stupid law in the first place, and if you really don't want sexual orientation to be an issue, than don't make a big deal about someone who makes that point. Unless of course they want it to be an issue, than it's a whole other story...
  17. While I agree with this a hundred percent, isn't it even more ignorant to tell an adult who's legally selling "sensitive material" to another adult while taking all necessary precautions to keep that material away from children's eyes that they can't conduct business just because they're conducting it near children? What, are they supposed to be corrupted by osmosis? And isn't THAT also forcing someone to raise their children a certain way, shielded from such material? I don't think I fully explained myself with this one. I never said that it should be illegal for adults to buy the comics, that's a totally different matter entirely. I never meant that not telling parents how to raise their kids is the same thing as forcing people to not conduct business that's completely legal, as I find nothing wrong with selling comics intended FOR adults TO adults. I completely agree with whomever said that there is no medium which is used for a specific age demographic. Except porn, but that's a totally seperate argument....
  18. You didn't really vent either, you delicious piece of ass..err, I mean you DAMNED SONOFABITCH~! You're hiding your feelings from a bunch of losers whom you will never meet, and also had their lunch stolen from them when they were kids from bullies and are now bitter about it. These snot-nosed dirt pickers also wish they were like me. Bastards don't know shit bout rasslin... <Bradshaw mode off> Yeah that didn't help, but I felt like venting...
  19. Exactly, Big Show heat is not "I don't like you and want to boo you" heat, it's "This fucking sucks and I think I'm going to change the channel" heat. Big difference.
  20. MrX was still the best, especially when he described Patricia Patterson as a homo, that was beyond hilarious...
  21. Was XKiller a gimmick poster? Like did you guys know who it happened to be? I don't know if this is in the right thread, but I remember someone from this board bringing a thread about another board who thought that all the ECWers were better than guys like Austin. Funny thing was, they came here and started arguing about it for awhile. That was pretty funny. Than again, any invasion of another board is pretty funny.
  22. now that I remember, he offered to kick BTH's ass and he even told him to fly to wherever it was that he lived, to bring his boys so that they could have a showdown. The funniest part was that he had about 150 posts in the first three days that he was here...
  23. Who was Xkiller? Was that the guy that used to brag about getting his boyz to kick people's asses? Also, I'm surprised that Marney isn't on this list either. I still like Mr.X. He was the greatest. His battles with Barry Windham were classic. Close second is BradshawTheHoss, who had an avatar of him giving the stunner to some guy on his truck. These three used to insult each other, except that Mr.X used to talk about being friends or something sometimes, gOOD sirz!
  24. Odds pointed to them losing. They never play well in the dome, and have won there twice in the last ten years. Besides, at least the Packers didn't lose to them TWICE... I know the Pack lost, but that was one game, near the beginning of the season, when they weren't the powerhouse that they are today...
