-Awesome/Tanaka killing each other
-Joey Styles at his commentary best
-RVD/Paul Heyman's shoots
-The crowd (God I miss the smart, mostly appreciative ECW crowd)
-The Sandman's entrance
-The main event and the aftermath
I saw it last night and it was excellent. It definitely goes to the top of the heap of comic book movies and judging by how full the theatre was for a 10:45 show, it will make a hell of a lot of money.
It was good but I guess I was expecting more after the finales of seasons two and three. Anyway, they've set up next season pretty good already and it looks like Antwon could stick around.
If that number is close to the true buyrate, that is fucking phenomenal. It's clear that they would never reach that number again, but Vince should really contemplate an ECW revival.
Pretty good episode. I loved Joe's reaction to the Hindenpeter. "How can you afford these things?!" Awesome. Equally awesome was the Randy Savage appearence, though actually having Savage do the voice would have made it even better.
That was honestly one of the best Pay-Per-Views I've ever seen. Even with the WWE stuff, it truly felt like an ECW PPV. That Tanaka-Awesome match was incredible. Anyone thinking about getting the replay should do it.
This is kind of shocking. I saw an interview with Tyson on "In This Corner"(a great show for Canadian boxing fans) and he looked focused and ready to go. I honestly thought he could claw his way back to a title shot but it looks like he's done.
