As hot as the Bills have been lately, I don't know how many guys I want to sit if I am Pittsburgh. Eliminate them when you have a chance. BPS, great point about the AFC teams that didn't make the playoffs, I am a Bengals fan and am confident about them stepping up, but all of these teams will be looking to make the leap. I'll be rooting for you guys next week, and for Lee Evans, he's a stud, and part of a truly great rookie WR corp that could all legitamately hold a claim ot Offensive Rookie of the Year (Evans-Clayton-Colbert) if there wasn't some guy name Ben R. for the Steelers.

I think Cleveland, San Francisco and Miami (obviously) will be the only teams with new coaches next year. I guess an outside shot in Seattle if Holmgren finds a way not to make the playoffs. On a radio show, some beat writer for the Saints thought Haslett's job was safe because it wouldn't look good for the owner to fire him and pay out 5-7 million dollars while asking for money for Superdome renovations. I'll throw out my picks for new coaches: Miami: Nick Saban San Francisco: Romeo Crennel (York is cheap, and its cheaper to hire a coordinator) Cleveland: Who knows what a mess of a franchise. The team has not been playing like they want Robiskie to stay so his chances are nill. Maybe give a shout out to Jim Fassel, but I bet he waits another year.

Jim Bowden will tell you that he is a Top Ten member. I am giving Bowden an incomplete, because of working for Carl Linder. But its not like he'll have a huge budget in Washington either.

I think Jocketty is a top 5 GM although I am admittedly a Cards fan. Schuerholz is number one though without a doubt. I worry about the fact the Cards lost both 2B & SS, Eckstein will be good, but no Renteria, although I am sure the Cards are not asking him to be. The thing that bothers me about the Mulder trade is that I hated giving up Danny Haren, I think he'll be great someday. The Cards will not be heavy favorites, but I hope they can get back to the playoffs with a healthy Scott Rolen.

Not true at all. I can't remember off the top of my head, but I think there were two or three that were not pulling their weight in average attendance and were possibly being scrapped if they can't bring it up to par. That could also be a by-product of the over-saturation of bowl games to, including ones in non-traditional markets.

Remember though Gallery was already gone. I think Manning will be alright in the long run. I think Toomer/Hilliard is one of the most overrated combos in the NFL. Hilliard hasn't really returned to his past level since the Dawkins hit last year. But the Giants need so many different things to address in the off-season, and it doesn't help they do not have a first round pick this year. The Chargers were in the tougher spot than the Giants, New York should have tried to push it back to a 1st Round pick in 2006.

He didn't get "forced out" Both players went for the ball and the height of the throw caused Keyshawn to extend his body and the momentum took him out of bounds. His feet were still inbounds and that's what counts. Not if your body touches out of bounds before BOTH feet hit the ground. BTW I thought it was an amazing catch by Keyshawn.

I don't think Jacksonville wins their last 4, and I think 9-7 does not get in with the AFC, but I do think they'll have a shot in every game. Jacksonville needs to move the ball better when they are inside the opponents 30 and in. However, a lot of that can go to the Steelers defense.

They could not keep the Big East champ out and if so would have set a dangerous precedent. This isn't NASCAR you can't change the rules in the middle of the year (And I am a big fan of NASCAR) Good thing Cal gets to play a Big 12 team, hope they beat them by 40.

It's not gonna be an easy game but the Bengals will be favored due to it being in Cincy. The Bills were my 6th spot pick for the AFC playoffs at the beginning of the year. But now I won't care if they lose. It'll be a great game in two weeks, it'll come down to which part of the game is more successful; Bengals D v. Drew Beldsoe or Willis MaGahee v. Bengals D.

Cal is the #4 team in the country, I'd say beating them is impressive enough. And if Cal gets the Rose Bowl nod, USC has beaten 2 BCS teams.

Jazz lose 8th out of last 10 games 109-86 to Dallas. This may get ugly while Kirilenko is out.

The I-AA game didn't help them, but it wouldn't have mattered. All three teams really deserve a shot at the winning the Nat'l Title. So Auburn is going to be in New Orleans against VTech?

I don't know, I am torn on the issue, when I was good last year I PM'd them, but I can understand the argument, be confident that you will go 16-0.

They were 1-1 when he made his first start. He's played well, but the Steelers are winning because of him not having to throw the ball much and controlling the time of possession.

Cincinnati Bengals Re-sign Peter Warrick, only if he'll take a pay cut, I expect him gone though because the Bengals need to spend their money on....... Rudi Johnson. I don't think the Bengals will let him go, but I know Rudi isn't thrilled a deal was not done. He's proved himself this year, he deserves the money. The Bengals need to get a center in the draft because Rich Braham doesn't have too many games left in him. Bobbie Williams is the weak link on the O line, but is improving so some more depth on the O-Line would be good. I'd like to see the Bengals get a D-Line who could come right in and start because who knows if Tony Williams will come back at his previous level. Throw in a decent CB-S in the draft who is also a great special teams player.

I think they go after either Jim Fassel or one of the New England coordinators. Possibly Nick Saban due to his old Browns ties and he has been one of the top "hot prospects" college coaches the last three years.
