Event Horizon. I didn't think it would be great, but the trailer was sweet (when he was in the inner panels, and the lights kept flashing) Terrible movie, I wasn't expecting ****, but better than it was.

Ireally liked the combo of Kornheiser and Screamin A. Smith. Very entertaining and Smith was toned down a tad.

Well the Cards got the broom shoved up their asses today by the Pirates. The worst part is the starting pitching played really well throughout the three games as well.

So who were the wrestlers that Adrian Adonis ate between 1980-1987? I had always heard he had a huge weight gain, but that's unreal.
-
Yeah he didn't die in the first one, so how could someone who had a "leading role" in Spiderman not be in the sequel?
-
If he won't be ready with at least a month before Summerslam, I really say hold off so he can get a good feud going. But then again, with SD! PPV booking, he could show up on Heat and get into a fight backstage with Billy Gunn and have a match later on.

I'm thinking it may end up that way.

Did JR just say HHH was a user?

YES! Kane bragging about being the father and accepting it is not common among the wrestling fan demographic.

Well, I don't know if it is too early to start talking about the draft, but let's get it started. This draft obviously have the impact that the 2003 draft had with James, Anthony, Wade, Hinrich, & Bosh. This may be a draft based on potential as I believe there are 10 HS seniors entered in the draft. The top three picks are ripe with questions: 1. With the top pick, many would like Orlando to take Emeka Okafor as a safe pick. But now with Tracy McGrady on his way out would it be smarter for Orlando to prepare for the future by taking Dwight Howard II? 2. & 3. Will the Clippers and the Bulls somehow make their teams even younger by selecting the 2nd generation of teenagers for their respective teams. Or will Atlanta try to move up to select Howard if he is still around? Teams with multiple 1st Round picks: Atlanta 6th & 17th overall Portland 13th & 23rd overall Utah 14th, 16th & 21st overall Boston 15th, 24th & 25th overall

I'm sure the WWE does not really care (and it probably has been discussed here before), but do they expect fans even care when a wrestler gets arrested by evil authority figure by trespassing in the ring when homicide is allowed? I understand it is entertainment, (I'll use the term loosely) but c'mon. Oh well I haven't watched a full SD! since the week before Judgment Day.

Thanks MMann and Deon, truly a horrid card. Yeah Bash 87 was bits and pieces from the tour. 2 War Games matches Flair/Garvin steel cage match for the World title Koloff/Luger steel cage match for the U.S. title RnR's/Midnights for the World tag titles I think a terrible Rhodes/Blanchard match A Freebirds six man tag match Windham/R. Steiner I think one other match too, but hell if I remember it. GREAT tape. Very fun.

Just because you "know about" it does not really compare to when you actually get out there and do it. I think Brock's kid was not born before he started. And I think Eddie beat Brock twice before No Way Out.

I really hope the Tiger Woods-Bob May shootout at the PGA Championship in 2000 (?) will be on there. Really who has ever shot three straight 66's and still lose?
-
Can anybody post a link, or the results of this show? Yes GAB 99 was definetely an event when we looked at each other at the end and could not believe we spent 30 bucks on it.

Yeah, I am thinking Holly tries to pull a Paul Roma in this match.

After watching the Dodgers-Giants highlights, it is nice to see that Michael Tucker has the same eyes as Manny Ramirez.

Is anyone going/thinking of going to Wrestlemania?

Damn, our WM 18 package was only $545 per person. -
The Jazz are trying to make players not want to come to Salt Lake City even more! Damn, I loved the picks of Humphries and Snyder, why did they trade Podkolzine? It's funny because in the Salt Lake Tribune they were talking about how the Jazz may package their last two 1st round picks to trade up for Podkolzine.

England-Portugal has me squeamish, as if no matter who I pick they'll lose. Since that strategy will probably work I will go with Portugal. France-Greece: I will take France although it will probably be closer due to France's play as of late, and the Greeks will leave it all on the field. Sweden-Holland: Great quarter matchup. I will take Sweden. Czech Republic-Denmark: I think this will be a great matchup too actually. I will take the Czechs.

Man Luke Jackson has jumped. And that is humorous how they would now have a good nucleus to rebuild with. Too bad they had the no.2 and 3 pick in the 2001 draft and are "rebuilding again".

Remember too, that apparently there has been security breaches in the Johnson case in Saudi Arabia, where sympathizers in Saudi security forces gave them access to were contractors may be.
-
Interesting strategy and dilemma for the WWE: Gunn/Suzuki, Mordechai/Holly and Sable/Torrie will be so bad is it better off not building at all to expose how weak the matches will be? I am all for build but honestly would three weeks of building those matches be worth it? I hope the crowd is going into the PPV energetic, because if the US title 4 way or Cruiserweight title match is not first the crowd will shit on the show.

So if you guys were the GM of the Orlando Magic, and you're assuming you are trading Tracy McGrady, Juwan Howard and Tyronne Lue for Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley & Kelvin Cato who would you take with the #1 pick? Emaka Okafor or Dwight Howard II? I still would take Hoawrd because I do not think you can become a title contender with Francis-Mobley-Okafor. And I think Howard would be ready in 3 years. I guess it just depends on when you want to win.

LA Clippers recent draft history: 2003 Chris Kaman (6th overall pick) 2002 Chris Wilcox (8th overall pick) Melvin Ely (12th overall pick) 2001 Tyson Chandler (2nd overall pick) Traded to Chicago for Elton Brand 2000 Darius Miles (3rd overall pick) Quentin Richardson (18th overall pick) 1999 Lamar Odom (4th overall pick)
